ah. the power of one sentence from MM Lee. 72 points. ah.
hehe. well, is it just me, or do other voices of reason start to feel ignored by the market? TA doesn't work at all now; or at least, it's beyond my skills; way too volatile. am relying almost solely on FA now.
think it'll still go up tomorrow tho.
Wow! STI up 72 points today to 3,145.20 .... !! Scary!! Can't clearly remember when we had such a huge hike in one day! Scary again ah ....
It is scary to tread in this present market..underneath everywhere and anywhere is a potential mine...better "take a break and have a kit-kat"..or unless u are really like what elf and lausk22 said, has the ability to unearth the jewels of the crown ..Good luck!
Expecting some profit taking on some penny stocks thou...esp those that has run up too sudden, then again expecting many to punt again..sti to stay within range (just about ST index 3,150 pt-just my tot).
Today it closed off to a new high ST index of 3,145.20 +72.32 pt with a healthy volume of 2,943.3 m shared traded with 26 penny stocks out of 30 stocks traded listed in the sgx top 30 list. Look to this week end (Fri) for hot penny stocks ending again.
I think it's more of not many want to sell....

agree with elf absolutely...better still if one can manage to unearth pearls among the many penny stocks, whom people write off as garbage stocks. and as chipchip wisely said one must have deep pocket to dip into though, so that one can have the bull strength to ride out any reversal.
institutional call: resistance level for STI is 3200, support is 2400. weigh the risk/reward ratio and see if it's worth. most likely in this kind of climate, STI will break 3,200. thereafter is anyone's guess.
personally, not worth buying when everyone's rushing to buy. need to do serious FA work to unearth undervalued counters now. most are overpriced. see your vol price charts to know who's buying and who's selling; that's your clue to the entrance or exit.
must say, it's pretty to see when everything's green tho. hehe.
Buy when nobody is buying! Not a good time to buy unless you have deep pockets.
Prices this morning were mostly explosive, with a number of counters at 52-week high. Would all sifus like to comment? Somehow, Singaporegal's words, "be cautious" is always on my mind.
Hi Ebay, afternoon belongs to second-liners to cheong. Blue chips have run up quite abit already. Tomorrow will depend if Dow up 100 pts or not. Otherwise, STI will be flat.
Last sentence is meant to be a question. Left out the question mark (?) which I feel is important because I am hoping for an answer. thanks!

Tomolo will have a broad based rally with STI cheonging above 50 pts by mid day with Blue chips leading the gainers. Leading the actives will of course be the penny stocks. Y i say so? Bcos i believe our MM has got the power to move the market with his at least 1 % goodies |
chipchip66, you are so damned good at this. Right on the Bulls eye, man. Any more bulls left? What about tomorrow? Correction to digest today's cheong.
STi up 60 pts liao! Afternoon, the pennies will be in full force!
STI almost reached the target for the year and it is only january
Impending corporate tax cut,new moon period,
Armstrong's business cycle(dow 14000) Barton's STI 3200,dow 14400,
Edge STI 3700-all adds up to create an explosive cocktail. No need to reson why.
Just make sure you have a stop loss before any trade as the volatility increases as the corrections will also be substantial
i think geojam is saying that it cost $2m to be singaporean PR again
