But, the US subprime woes is a real concern now. Should US housing slumps, recession awaits cos the Americans will cut down on their spending. We badly need them to spend so that we can export more.

Fow now, let's enjoy the chiong while we can! If Dow does close above 100 points 2nite, STI will cross above 3,150 points effortless tomorrow.

 

Just FYI oni: Cancelling my Q to sell on defensive stock and putting them on hold. Just tot of sharing my trading patten. for 2morro:))

 

Next resistance of  3125 (20EMA) looks like it will be broken tmr.

This 20 EMA has been a great support during the recent bullrun that ended in Feb, though pls remain caution as STI broke thru it on 12 n 13th of March but came down the next day.

victorian, agree with you that subprime cud cause recesssion is bullshit....the analogy you use is solid cos it is a fact......Also yen carry trade cud cause recession is again bullshit....the reason you gave is again solid and it is a fact (japan's bank interest rate is only 0.5%).....who wud buy back yen n forego interest rates of 4 to12 % in other countries' bank rates.......herds are, as usual and continually be herds.....sad for herd action during induced markets' slides.     Be cool man.

 

Morning trade (TUES 20-3-2007) STI will have a verygood chance to shoot at 3,200 marks. DOW is up again +110.4 points (1.0% coming) Cheonggg.... ahhh..........:))

 

The only thing worth paying attention to is the

One-Year DJIA chart.

 

Yeah .... Trust the FOMC this Wed9 will throw a longer life-line to STI on Thursday's trading! Let's see if 3.2k mark can be breached this week ...

DOW still climbing up +105 (+0.88%) points liao

 

STI to continue it fine run at least for tomorro (Tues), expecting green, green counters and to test STI 3,200. DOW was up +82 points, will follow regional mkt to produce a fine run tonite, look likely another profitable day for profit taking.

 

One of the better known taitais who has good connection is named Christina Ong who bought lots of HPL when it was trading at $1. Very stupid of me then because I did not follow her to buy then:)

 

Ah Sohs are Ah Sohs...

Since they are basically of the same 'species'... :)

Ah Soh's with $$$ are known as "tai-tais", whereas those with
less $$$ are called "Ah Sohs".

Why the discrimination?

And remember, the "Ah Soh" with less $$$ today may have more money than you next time.
