Will the Dow fall affect the SGX tomorrow? Anyone care to give their valued opinion. It seem like today the SGX was quite insulated from the Dow fall yesterday.
teeth, can I ask you how do you find out about Mr Oei's counters? I follow news on newspaper but they are piece-meal, here a bit, there a bit. Thanks.
Today Mr Oei (stable) counters mostly all Green-Cheongg.. i mean it also come in with good volume, a good sign, ppl's looking forward to his magic touch and has positive (+) outlook on his stocks. Jus my tot.:)

In this regard, I must say this does not apply so much to comments by Simonloh as to another 'authority', since obviously Simon is personally much concerned with helping people than anything else... :)
People will believe more if the comments come from someone whom they consider an 'authority'. And they then follow the comment with confidence.
What they don't realise is the 'authority' will know how to act to save himself or herself from financial loss, but the newbie will understandably not act in the same way.
And this is the danger... the 'authority' will not know how many people have followed his 'tips' and therefore will not be in a position to advise them to act correctly, or do it in time.

I strongly believe many people will take forum postings especially here as good tips and then buy or sell after they are impressed with a comment.
Of course, like you said, the may make money, too, as a result!
