hikitty and singaporegal,

There is nothing special after 16th April...it is just that the trend is not clear after that (50-50) which i do not like...whether up or down is not clear yet....will closely monitor market and make judgement soon...good luck

I suspect however until the jabbas Jabba the Hutget their salary pay rise tucked away, the STI will remain high for some while...

If you ask me which is more important - no rate cut or US economy on sound footing? I prefer the latter.

on the other hand. job growth was WAY ABOVE Expections. meaning.....definitely no rate cut and maybe a rate hike is in order?

then it wun be too good for the market. BUT i think it's still gonna be green on monday.

Agree! There is decrease in the unemployment rate in the US. Should be good news for STI too!

I have a feeling Monday's market could be bull. US job growth and job payroll has increased. These are the important news to me

Sorry to derail a bit....this may sound stupid but can i ask at the start of the trading day, the opening price is determine by the buy price or the sell price? For eg, if yesterday closing price is $1, then on the next day, if there is buyers at $1.02, and also there might be sellers at $0.98, so which at which price will the opeing price transact?

Hi singaporegal

Do your charts show STI going up or down next week ?

Should we sell our share now since April and May share usually slow and down .What is your opinion ?

Thanks.

Hi victorf,

I would also like to know what is so special on 17 April?

Regarding the STI, volumes are pretty decent today. Probably consolidation going on which is a good sign?

Hi victorf

U'r indeed great - a crystal ball gazer?. U were able to "predict" spot on a rally for Genting. That analysis based on TA and crystal ball gazing?  After 16 April mkt will be undergo a correction again?   Guess that 's your  prediction. Right?

If the Dow do a spiralling "cheong" tonight, you can bet an exciting resurrection of sorts will take place here too when the market opens again... :)
