there will always be ppl buying at high, & ppl selling at low irrationally in ipco, so no worries of who is selling to him:) im cautious still, 'cos of the ceiling, but if he continue to buy in everyday, price will slowly creep up inevitably, just like August

I think someone sold him off market on the cheap, and he's buying to hedge in case stocks run up again.

in my opinion, today edward buy back seems to indicate his confidence that US ceiling is gonna resolve before 17th, and that blumont saga negative effect is lifted in short term.. seems like he is still confident in ipco, and the recent sell off by him is mere profit taking 'cos of the market bearish sentiment that he had predicted from the US ceiling.. base on the 100mil shares he accumulated in July/August and then offloaded 2 weeks ago, he can buy back about 150mil shares base on current price.. if this few days he continue to buy back, it will further prove that the recent sell off is short term profit taking.. i probably gonna start to queue and buy back some, still cautious about the ceiling though.. anyway, edward likely bought majority of his 24mil shares today at around 2.3 cents base on below.. (DYODD)

dont think he will offload till below 5%.. doesnt make much sense to hold it for so long to just get a meagre return.. if he's that short-termed, he would have unload more at the point when ipco surge, not when ipco is tracing back due to bearish sentiments in market & the trading curb.. ipco has been trading at 3cents range months ago, and he did not offload during that time.. the shares that he had offloaded these 2 days are those that he accumulated & buy in excess during month of august.. so most likely, he will keep the remaining old shares, unless it has very clear signal that ipco going back to below 3 cents (such as maybe US ceiling unresolved, causing very bearish market sentiment which most definitely pull every single counter down), where he will sell more, so that he can buy back low again.. if u ask me, as a long term investor in ipco, if i were to definitely know that ipco going down, i will surely sell all my shares in short term to cash out my profits, then buy back at low again.. but the fact that i do not know for sure if ipco will pull back a lot, i still leave some shares just in case we have sudden madness of buying interest again.. same thing with edward.. if he thinks ipco for sure will go down in short term, he wont be holding a lot shares.. but he will likely buy back the shares again for the long term investing, if he thinks ipco is still worth it.. just my opinion. |

NAV is no longer 8c after the big drop in asiasons, blumont, innopac and liongold...

I entered 2.3c. NTA is 8c ? and profitable for last 2 or 3 yrs with spike in revenue from natural gas development last FY. I avoided Blumont and Asiaon. No proven fundamental, just anticipation. In case any scandal uncovered and the stock suspended again and if this happens, may be for much longer time. I have my doubt if their management has the experience to run the new outfit of a much larger and complex outfit spanning across the region with many regulatory constrains and taxation issues to grabble with, not to mention corporate governance and management oversight and control. Bottomline, risk is not worth taking though gains may be very attractive. |
