In chinese, Ban mean Full and Joo much Pig, both are auspicious word for 2007. After meaning for Ban Joo is satisfied. This counter will satisfied you if you support it all the way to 0.60 cents.

So far the "Million Pig" has already proved itself by it's sterling performance...

The rest of the journey up will very likely be from here... :)

Sound more like pig in disguise -- perhaps waiting to eat the tiger.

was corrected by colleagues that this is the year of fire pig, not golden. So sounds more like BBQ pork to me.

ipunter: I assumed that scotty commented on your disbelief in trends because you chose to reply to my post regarding my analysis of the 'trend'. But nvm, we're going off-topic! Back to Banjoo, may it really be the darling of the year! :-D

I have a hunch that the broking houses are withholding their analyst reports on BanJoo until their big clients/fund managers have accumulated enough Ban Joo shares on the cheap. Once their big clients have accumulated enough, then they will release these reports (hopefully shedding positive light on BanJoo) and let the floodgates open for prices to go up.

Hopefully the reports will be out pretty soon, so that everyone here, whether big or small time investors, can have a share of the pie.

From the nature of business that BanJoo is going into - legalized & govt endorsed gambling in the most populated country - its hard not to see the potential windfall that this latest venture could bring to BanJoo.

Good luck everyone. And dont forget to do your part for charity with your winnings.

Cheers.

hey ipunter, thanks for the clarification. :-) I'm just a newbie in TA, so maybe I used the term 'trend' a little too loosely. Sorry if I caused any confusion.

I agree with ipunter that one cannot really be sure of uptrend or downtrend. One can only work with probabilities based on careful analysis of the indicators. What I've learnt personally is that it's really easy to work on hindsight and say that so and so indicators predicted this price movement last week. But to really predict into the future is quite different.

oic... okay, I see what you mean...

In the posts, what I really mean was that ...

One cannot say for sure a certain stock is either "on the uptrend" or "on the downtrend.

Especially so if one or more lagging indicators are used as the basis of such pronouncements.

Many indicators are based on what happened in the preceding days/sessions.

And when a pronouncement is made...

a beginner, who is invarably very alert and keenly responsive to such 'tips'

given by a perceived 'authority' will imaginably rather quickly act on such

information and thus quite possibly lose $$$.

Aiyoh... iPunter... you really sensitive leh.

I'm only asking because I read some of your posts where you disagree with people for relying too much on trend. So I'm trying to understand your position on this issue.

Scotty...

You are being sarcastic once again.

In the 'rudiments' of TA, trend is one of the main concepts expounded...

I am a purely TA person... so how can you say that?

I hope you can steer away from being personal and discuss only content with me...
