HK has given me solid profit even when it went down coz I collected low and my ST trade was kept to minimum. This yr end onwards until 2015/2016 according to the management, HK will have significant growth and profit to be excellent. Barring any unforeseen circumstances (world war 3 or incompetence of sgx) , px of HK will continue its rise...super profit to those tongers.
Today we see the turn around of pennies..those who got sky one cheap already laughing to the bank. Those who got HK at 6.3 also laughing. Those who can hold,the px will recover..such is the benefit for investing in FA grounded stock.
Good to see that HKtongers have a little present this Deepavali. Hopefully, a bigger one awaits us before THIS Xmas

Looks like happy days again..but so sad for me.. I am traveling this and next week and can't trade. Oh no. LT target for HK is still intact. 2d by end of this year a real possibility still.

China's PMI hits 18-month high. China's purchasing managers' index (PMI) for the manufacturing sector rose to 51.4 percent in October, hitting a new high since May 2012, the NBS said Friday. Stage prepared for their plenary meeting in Nov. to be completed before HK's 1Q announcement.
Got again at 6.5c.

Thanks for sharing your story. Im very disappointed with the market, the stock which i have selected, most of all disappointed with myself.
I calling it quits. Now waiting to be bailed out from the market. Every weekend go hoot sme bola punts try to recover something. Beo zhun zhun once i manage to sell off my shares hopefully at the least loss possible, i will lock up my account. Take care yourself. For me, i dont think i can beat the BBs at their game. I reckon i will continue to be a loser if i continue on in this game.

Never mind.. It is a lesson learnt. It took Innopac to wake me up about the dangers of bluffing without having any good cards. Remember I went practically all-in on Innopac without considering the fact that I studied the company once and found it a deep hole. But while I was travelling, greed took over and I forgot every single thing I studied. A few minutes after I bought near 9cts, I reopened my ipad trading app and saw that the price had crashed to 7cts and that is not 50-100lots mind you, but a full 400lots (almost 40k). Jackspeed ought to have taught me a lesson before, but the loss was very manageable as I only played 40 lots so I (unfortunately) forgot all about it when it was most required as a restraint. My trading profits as I went in and out of Hankore during the rise probably contributed too as I bet big and won a lot. One greedy trade was all it took to wipe out my entire years profits and bring me deep into the red.
That lesson and Lucky's technique here showed me the dangers of playing all my chips at once. While it may well be a little late given that Innopac is now trading at 3.3cts and still trending lower, the tuition fee I paid will never be forgotten and the pain endured will serve me better in the future when I trade short term and invest long term. I have had countless sleepless nights since that fateful day. The 4th of October will forever be etched in memory.
I realised that one must never chase the price of a stock. Yes, I agree that occasionally we look at the screen, pick a stock in the top 20 showing unusual activity and say that this one will run and indeed it does, making us regret that we did not buy. And then comes a time when we actually buy and what typically happens? It craters and we caught the high. I guess that it why many bought Hankore at 7+ cents- because they were afraid of missing out on a run that may or may not occur. This itself is a form of chasing a stock.
I have been collecting (investment) HK at around 40-100lots everyday. For trading, whether I intend to trade upwards or downwards, I now buy small like 10-20 lots and if the price moves favourably, I add to my position. Otherwise, I cut and end the trade or take the other position. Yes, the commission is punishing, but I would rather lose a $60-100 commission than lose $3000 in capital in a day as I buy big and the trade sours.
I saw your posts in the other threads. Hope you are doing okay. Remember that stock markets are like that. There are winners and losers. And like a casino, the biggest enemy is not the BB, the directors, fellow forum members shorting your stocks, our brokers, the dealers. or anyone else but us ourselves. So long as you have learnt your lesson and not repeat it, it will do you very well in the future. You are still young I believe. Only if you are losing your pension or retirement monies should you worry but even then...life is short and getting shorter.
