This is the announcement for the 3Q2011 result released last Nov, 11th. The FY2011 results should be coming soon, in the coming days or next week. You can expect another profitable quarter, and FY2011. I am very positive it should propel the stock to higher ground. Caveat Emptor.
SINGAPORE, 10 November 2011 – Mainboard-listed mDR Limited (“mDR”), a leading
distributor and retailer of mobile telecommunication devices and telecommunication services,
today announced the 8th consecutive quarter of profits:
Increased profits in Q3 2011
Sustained profitability since Q4 2009
Full repayment of bank borrowings
mDR registered a 112% increase in 3Q2011 net profits from S$0.8 million to S$1.6 million, with
YTD2011 net profits of S$4.23 million representing a 165% increase from previous year.
mDR fully repaid all its bank loans on 30 September 2011, and its cash balances strengthened
to S$18.1 million, compared to S$14.2 million as at 31 December 2010. Net tangible asset
position of mDR also strengthened from $12.4 million as at 31 December 2010 to S$28.5 million
as at 30 September 2011. Net asset value per share (cents) at 31 December 2011 is 0.49c.

Pls note that the new normal is 0.8c for the immediate foreseeable numbered days. Could sense that something exciting is going to happen to this babe soon. Think of it - some money-losing companies are trading at a much higher price, thereby higher valuation. Can mDR mgt allow it to continue to be so? Ask Kevin, our great guy.

He is also the deputy chairman of K-Reit Asia.
From nothing to do with Mdr. He has been accumulating Mdr shares since last year. Now he is a substantial shareholder at 15%. Does he see something in Mdr? For you to decide if to buy now.

Great Post CNY Sales - lelong lelong. Only 0.8c - less than a cent. What can you buy with less than a cent these days? mDR la!

Kevin Wong Kingcheung'. I have great confidence in him and Philip Eng to turn this Co around, thereby improving shareholders' ROI. Huat-ah! Caveat Emptor.

Matter of time will move up..now to next friday before result out.
tomorrow is friday...fly again ? maybe....
my guess is next week...moving downs before ups....just a guess only.

Ya..well penny stocks tend to face having loads of unwilling LT investors..to each one's own comfort level would be the best gauge..hmm..

WONDER what you mean by unwilling long term investor, does that mean that a lot of them who vested would get stuck then become long term?lol
This is like a gambling counter, can go +-50% in a day.

Like informatics, when it gets noticed that its profitable for 2-3 years potential investor will start to buy in. This is what happening to Mdr now. I hope they will announce dividend this year and start share buying next year then it will push the price up further.
They are distributor and service center for Samsung in Singapore and we know this Korean Giant is flying righ now. Also they started Gadget World selling handphone accessories which I believe have higher profit margin and potential in expansion.
Hope all Mdr Supporters have a Big Year!!

I'm with you gufeng! after 8 consecutive Qs of good results..I think the next one will be another good one. Furthermore last Q was the first Q they cleared their debt. The next one, if good, will definitely be more visible then ever. Might be a good thing now that the steam is cooling off a bit before the results are out so for those who have a feel for this...I tink it's a good chance to go in also.

Strong support at 0.008. Weak & contra holders will sell to take profit. I pick up somemore at 0.009 & 0.008 in anticipation of good results.
Very strong sell down at 0.8 cent wonder will it last or will carry on to drop.
