STI to cross 3000 boosted by long-term investors

ALL OIL & ENERGY RELATED STOCKS --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

 

OIL has reach to as high as $75 a barrel due to short supply in US. All oil and energy ( commodoties ) stocks were all up in NYEx and Dow. I personally think that the BB will come in soon......if this stock has both oil and coal power...maybe high possibility bb will push up this baby (staitsasia) price to 1.65 up 23 cents in a day. This stock can move up ferociously... support well at 1.41 . Japan and South Korea giving up their nuclear power...they need more coal as other alternatives to generate power ( cheapest way is from burning coal) Think about it ....this baby will not dissapoint..... my fair value 1.70

The uncertainty of Fed chairman?s comments is finally over and done with?its back to winning way for the STI today?..

Covincing it rebound again on track to 14,000 again and we still have good energy related company bring in good 2Q earning comming..

Hi 1234567, my fav stocks are SPH, F&N, Standford Land, ASA group, Metal Comp, SembCorp, 8Telecom. Mix of blue and penny chips..

Too busy at work, log onto SJ tonight and almost all my counters are red, none green!. Study STI chart, can start to accumulate when STI reaches around 3500.

 

dow drop 40 only. sti will b affected by property counters, oil counters cud still go up n other counters nothing to do with property or oil (if going down...wud be herd reaction). Fear is ur greatest enemy in the stock market. Be calm, dun worry..be happy.

Good, market turmoil is my chance to go in big again on stocks with good fundamentals like SembCorp, SembMarine............

Last 2 market meltdowns, made gain of more than $200K from panic sellers and doomsayers. Hope to repeat the feat again. As long as got money to hold, need not worry.

 

If it slip down further who will buy????  In the end the funds n goverment injection some kind of reassurance confident. See they can play the black n the white hunter to get our $.

 

Agree. This correction is not going to be short. Only those counters with good fundamental will hold ground. Have faith if the counters you are holding have strong hold. 

 

now resting on 15 day sma. hope it can hold..

 

this divergence not likely be short le. divergence since april n sti is cap by the upper bollimger band..

 

what caught me off guard is the correction happen when dow created a new high.. was expecting to sell a portion of my stocks either tomolo or friday. sad ly i cant monitor as i am working..

 

warn as on 16th july to clear some holdings. was going to clear tomolo but well too bad the bbs wanna sell early by one day. from profit to maybe lost now. tough luck..

 

Morning very heavy specutation up on small cap stocks and price drop due to oil prices stock taking the beating and no exception also for small cap.

STI Server is very hot and data is not sending over, some sort of down....i think..

 

DOW closed up +ve, so is STI today, however expecting STI to move within range bound, big cap stocks like properties, banks and oil&marine play will help to lift up STI, while small cap stock will be speculated on.....again. 

 

 

while Dow is making new highs, STI is quite cautious dropping only 1 or 2 pts a day. On the other hand, penny stocks doing real well with Sesdaq breaking 300pts. maybe its still penny stocks time.
