The red sea was closed. The journey continues to the"promised land of milk and honey". If one keeps the faith, one shall bear fruit in abundance....

Staunch bulls may wish to recollect the story (theory) of the "boiled frogs"...

which is apparently transpiring recently...

Internal core sentiment of the market has been damaged for quite a while already... Smiley

However, it seems to me the downtrend , led by many a stock, has already begun about a month ago... Smiley

Europe has started on green ink this morning, lets hope it rolls across the atlantic. I agree with below & hopefully soon Asia markets will stand on their own feet.

A wave has lost it's momentum.
If there is a technical rebound( 1/3 to 1/2 of the recent fall ) a  retest of the low(C wave) should occur theoretically.

Blessed the short sellers for being so so so smart this mornings that they can definitely make money today (If only making kopi $$$ is that easy??).  Time for the very rich bbs and syndicates to give them a rousing send-off.   Remember any correction won't last for another ten years, as it did previously.  Remember Asia and Singapore don't have the sub-prime lending woes like the US - time that ST index detaches itself from  Dow Jones - our fundamentals are different - Why must we "bootlick"  or ape DJ cycle?

Don?t be fool by the fake bullishness?

If dow crashes tonight again?it will be devastating. Double whammy?

Stay alert and cautious. nevertheless it was a good recovery. the question now is can this lasts...

wonder if the region's turning green today (if it remains till the closing) will have any positive effect on the DOW...currently Shanghai, Seoul and the STI index are up on the green again...within the Pacific/Asia region...we see New Zealand, Australia and Taiwan surfacing soon too...while the Japan's Nikkei still fluctuates

So far so good.. the sky did not fall down this morning. Hopefully STI will not drop like Dow becoz STI has been doing corrections in baby steps since begining July while Dow has been shooting their ass up into the sky.

Nothing to bargain buy so far this am but still better to remain cautious. Could be bears digging a bull pit now to trap and makan the bulls later in the day...

Good luck and may all be well...

guys see...the STI seems to be climbing back from the opening to now...from a dip of over 20+ points to currently dip of only 8+points within an hour of trading...wonder if we will see the slightest of green today

At such volatile time, I can see u are still very rock steady in spewing words of wisdom!

Good for you Mani. You must have made good by now that you can sound so detached like the enlightened ONE!!

Since sentiment is hurt bad, (remember recent events)...

It would be safer to step aside for the time being, rather than do nothing... Smiley
