Trading today very thin.... never see the market so sleepy for so long already.
newmoon...is there a law said that 6 day after new moon px will go up???in fact market crash on Guanyin birthday..so we can remember her or what??i dont know..but for me is out now...scare more surprises coming will see my hard work for last few weeks disappear into thin air...good luck...no offence...sorry

Today morning trading for STI to (guess) it hit sti-3,456 to3,465 pionts, up by +30 to 35 point.
All Index and penny stocks will turn green with some concern and will turn cautious as it make it way up B4 profiting taking, those with some spare $$$, It is bargain hunting times.

OK they said they watching closely..if they are good the subprime problem should not have come abt...in the first place...whose mistake???so what can they do now other then watching closely...
Would they come into the market to buy up the share like Malaysia did..once...will MAS bail all those contra losses out..
In the US alone there are some 9000 hedge fund!!!u think govt can tok up and down the market...it just take a few big hedge fund panic ..and the dow is down 3 figure!!!..the fed can onli control liquidity by printing money...but that is not going to work now...they cannot bluff ppl for long

If fed are smart..there will always bull in the market...how come got crashes..they alway say a strong dollar,but what they do to make the dollar strong???the dollar are supported by Jap and the chinese..otherwise,long time already in hell..if not for reserve currency status..
oil is price in US$..that y ppl still need to buy the dollar to buy oil..that why the dollar is still ard...but of late some middle east country dont want the dollar fro their oil..who want a currency that keep going lower day after day..become worthless..they get the oil for free.
The fed are onli good in printing paper money without backing...they will set their own downfall and that of the world..
i believe the government sector people will also look into this kinda downfall...they can't just watch blankly at this situation right?
Fed governor Kroszner said the Fed is watching subprime very very closely and the real economy has not been affected by the mortgage meltdown.
Sub Prime fund will caused concern but will not greatly effect the overall trading to cause a total collapse and thing will much depend also on other like S'ghai and Nekkei..

i think as long as suprime issues is not clear yet , the market will not settle down. now the bull and bear is fighting fiercely because of a lot of good earning report and also credit woes arround. that is the reason of so many waves .
so now is not confirmed bull or bear will win at this period, my opinion, just stay away from the market and watch to see when and who will win .

Technically the STI should recover to the neckline of 3500.
What happens after that will depend on numerous factors-oil price interest rate cut etc.
newmoon, u are saying moon madness is subsiding. but then wave c is not here yet right? wouldn't the mkt be worse when and if wave c arrives?
