Just had a look at the charts of indo-agri, golden agri, wilmar.  Hit the resistance level at 2.44;  .98  and 4.44 respectively.  Technicals generally positive.  Palm oil futures close up fairly positively.  Barring any major upheaval especially in commodities expect these resistance levels to be broken next week.  If not will trend down to strong support level of 2; 0.89 and 4 respectively.  Vested.

As I have mentioned in my many previous postings,  this is the usual modus operandi when they are accumulating the shares.  The only safe way to counter this is to watch the fundamentals closely by doing our own research like looking out for up to date info regarding the palm oil industries.  BB are not stupid.  They will take advantage of any slightest negative news to try and selldown and collect more.  My strategy for this type of high volume turn over stocks is to try not to buy when there is big run up.  Many a times you are left holding them at a higher price when there is a downward correction.  A good strategy is to look at the technical charts and accumulate at likely support levels/entry points when there is a downward correction.  The critical factor to note is that as long as the fundamentals of the stock remains good,  the prices will start to go up again.  The biggest difficulty that I have always is overcoming the Greed factor and not knowing when to sell.  "Buy when there is fear and sell when there is greed" - very easy to understand but very difficult to execute. Still learning after all these years. Some of my thoughts if anyone border to read.

Just a point to note here, last week there was a single huge sell down of 5 mils lots at the closing time of 5.05pm.

Hopefully this BB are not controlling the counter and waiting for us retailers to dumbo before this counter is being buy up a again, just a word of caution,do not get stuck if this is what they want.

More reasons why you should not try to short sell palm oil counters. Fundamental investing is always safer.

PETALING JAYA: Crude palm oil (CPO) prices on Bursa Derivatives surged yesterday, buoyed by supportive monthly industry statistics released by Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB). The commodity was also catching up with main rival soyoil, whose price had been advancing in Chicago in the past two days.

MPOB said yesterday the country's palm oil stockpile fell 5.5% last month to 1.82 million tonnes from a record 1.93 million tonnes in February.

Exports in March jumped 16.8% to 1.24 million tonnes from 1.06 million tonnes a month earlier, while output from estates rose 5.5% to 1.296 million tonnes versus 1.23 million tonnes.

CPO futures contract for June delivery climbed RM130, or 3.9%, to RM3,455 tonne, the highest level so far this month.

The benchmark contract has risen 60% over the past one year on expectation that global vegetable oil production would continue to lag demand worldwide.

WHICH MEANS THAT SHARE PRICES HAS A LOT TO CATCH UP TO DO! THAT'S MY OPINION.  CAVEAT EMPTOR.

There is a strong correlation between crude oil prices and CPO...

"SINGAPORE, April 11 (Reuters) - Oil fell below $110 a barrel on Friday as a rebound in the U.S. dollar against the euro and Saudia Arabia's comment that markets were well-supplied prompted investors to reduce positions........Ali al-Naimi, oil minister for top OPEC producer Saudi Arabia, on Thursday shrugged off calls from consumer nations to boost production, saying that supplies were adequate and record prices were not due to a lack of oil."

"...oil prices retreated after testing a record high above $112 a barrel."

I am not sure whether golden agri will continue its upward momentum today and next week. Currently, prices seem stuck at 0.955-0.965.

Any comments?

It looks like it will not increase much today. TA is showing positive divergence, I think it should at least cross $1 by nxt week. Anw, the fundamentals for palm oil are strong.

FCPO continue their bull run today.....partly because of drop in US dollars and drop in inventories.

Fundamentally strong in this industry.

Technically, bullish in term of buying in this counter since yesterday.
