I think Citraya will probably end up higher tommorow. Today it bled too much already.

 

knowing the Ohl and Heshe paid 0.8485 cent per share then what should be the fair price ?

may be 5 to 10 times of their initial investment, say 4.5 cent to 8.5 cents

Hi gho485, you bought it at a good price compared to others!! It went all the way down from 44c and you managed to get it at 14.5c!!! Actually, now the only way is up as every bad news have been more or less filtered out. Somemore, the percentage of fall is quite limited already!

 

No fair value = no value?? haha

 

I heard from the the 6.30pm Channel 8 news that no one knows the fair value of this company...?

Did you get it at 14.5c?? Well it could be a good buy or good-bye! In my opinion, it is a better buy than Citiraya bcos at least Equation has got at least 20m in cash in its bank account!!

More than 600 m shares changed hands. SGX having the best day!! Going forward, i hope there could be more twists to the story. Instead of increasing OHL's stake in Citiraya, he could mount a takeover bid of Equation shares now since it is much affected by the selldown.. Should Citiraya rise in value later, OHL will be controlling 2 companies on the cheap!Just my 2 cents opinion. Anybody care to comment??

Two sides to a coin here on Citiraya:

Side #1)  Importantly, its management are new and not proven yet. It had lost most of the previous biz to its competitors during JM and CAD investigations. So it will have to start from scratch ..... just like IPO.

Side #2)  But, with OHL's backing and biz influences, biz should return! And when OHL starts to buy more shares, this counter will balloon again!

 

One dealer with a local brokerage said investors remain slightly wary of Citiraya following the investigation, and are hoping that businessman Oei Hong Leong, who has taken a stake in the firm, will soon announce restructuring plans.



Investors who were stuck with the suspension could be unloading. Falling gold and platinium prices don't help.
