Nice image, cathylmg. But I think you should remove the 2nd uptrend line which has been broken. Golden Agri is still trading within the symmetrical triangle though.

Golden Agri is unable to make any headway because it's trapped by double resistances. Read more.

So what is the purpose of these announcements?  What is the implication on golden agri share price if any?  Care to enlighten?  My assessment of the trading these past few days:  Essentially traders and punters playing it up and down.  Caught in a trading range until the "genuine big investor" i.e. the Funds start buying up.  If palm oil fundamentals remain strong it is a matter of time.  Hope I am right.  vested.

So the moral of the story is: strong palm oil fundamentals can't beat the bear afterall. It's a value investment to hold, but I think we can forget about it cheonging up as long as the market remains bearish.. my humble opinion. very interesting lesson. thanks everyone. =)

Reference to Warrant Buffet's remarks " you think the share you hv purchased is potential good yield one, then hold for 30 yrs also nevermind". So the decision is still yours. At this moment, really can't see clearly why it shrinks. Others may hv their views as well, can share share leh.

Investor38 I agree with you.  It will need some funds to realize the value and buy in to move it up. At trailing PE of 6x, and growing so fast, as long as CPO price stays reasonable the value is definitely there!

At the end of the day,  whether it will move up will really depend on the Big funds coming in to buy once they see value in the stock

Supposed to breakout at 3/4 of the wedge. Seem like not likely. Investors still hesitant.

This is a test of your patience. How much downside risk can you take? If no risk no gain. Rule of thumb, cut lost at 8-10%.

Self vested at 0.925 and have seen it gone down to 0.835 but still holding.

Many people have been burn badly during the previous two corrections.  Understandly, they are more cautious now.  Wilmar still holding strongly above 4.50 and Indo-agri above 2.60. CPO futures still postive.  Hang on and don't worry.  Downside limited
