ohh..hee no reason pure personal speculation as the barrier now seems to be 93.5cts..and from my observation the next "high" is around 96.5cts...to taking a symmetric centre at 93.5cts give me the bottom of 90.5cts loh...hee :P

Just checked with broker. XD 5May, payment 22May.
CPO future prices open up this morning 11,13,17 for June, July and Aug 08. If this continue, I will expect a breakout soon. Hope I am right. Vested
Prices normally drop a bit after xd. But depend on how much is the dividend. Sometimes more.
Yes, interested to learn why 0.905 too.
What will happen after XD?? Will it drop further or what?? Seniors, please enlighten.

0.905?? I think AK got it from April Fool day, must check the statement. Yah it seems bitting quite around current price. Hope it will improve before its XD, though a miserable 0.5c.
May I ask for your views why at .905 instead of .93, .92, or .885?

The breakout was supposed to be at 3/4 of the wedge but it didn't happen.
ok..i m still waiting to collect < 90.5cts :P

The trading range is getting tighter each day. I do agree with you. The part about the breakout is either head north or head south. Fast and furious. Take note.

believe that BBs (say in "83"th street, etc.) will first defend their fortress at $0.93...however, one may not believe in BBs as sometimes they can be wrong...only believe in MARKET as MARKET is always RIGHT :)....just remember the key points and trade accordingly (if for short term)
still the market is in uncertainty mode and my advise is "BE DISCLIPLINE" esp. for short term trading :)
some key points for you to take note for short term trading (and do not take middle as will be neither here or there)
$0.84, $0.93, $1.02, $1.16, $1.32, $1.43
seems trapped in $0.93 - $1.02 wave....break up or break down will be one wave shift....good luck :)

some comments on golden agri for ping009....it is clear that golden agri is a play among BIG BOYS...if you know technical analaysis, you will have a BIG EDGE and will make BIG MONEY for every BIG MOVE (one or two waves) whether for buying or shorting based on support and resistance...the stock is supported by good fundamantal and whether one can buy will depend on whether he is buying short term, mid term or long term
Perform some technical analysis on this stock and the trend will be clear :)

As KTlow has pointed out and I have checked Golden agri annual report just sent to me; earning/share is 33 Singapore cents and NAV is 94 singapore cents. I believed with average palm oil prices being much higher so far this year, re-valuation of golden agri would have increased its NAV and I am also anticipating higher earning /share for the first quarter. Base on this I do see value in this counter.
Another thing, Soya and corn futures are still very strong!
Just to repeat what I have posted last night under Palm oil counters:
"Since the steep correction of palm oil counters form their apex on 26 to 28 Feb, a forward triangle has formed over the past few weeks. Having looked at the charts again, my own interpretation is that Indo-agri, wilmar and FR has broken out of the tip of the triangle. Golden agri breakout will likely to be tomorrow or Monday. Hope I am right." Vested.
Oh no, AK is an art class student lah, X n Y axis are out of my brain leow. If the alternatives of corns and beans come into play and control of export and import prices imposed on palm oil, do all these will affect the conventional graph, as dictated earlier? Really dun know lah.
