Healthy volumes... and looks to be on uptrend. But its a penny stock and prone to volatility. Be cautious.

Bullrun,

On the latex processing plant, not much info available...e.g. to what extent is the processing to....from 'cup lump' to TSR or RSS.?

Anyway, I ran some numbers based on 'cup lumps' to TSR....and with limited info available and limited knowledge about latex processing, I came up with the following numbers.....

should the JV proceed, and assume it starts production during 2Q 07, contribution to eps for FY07 will be about 0.10 to 0.12cts.

For FY 08, contribution to eps should be about 0.22 to0.27 cts per share.

Figures will be more if the processing is to RSS grade..

Bear in mind thase are very rough cut figures and its best to wait for further announcements from the company and hopefully they will provide more insight.

Bullrun,

No idea for the uptrend today.....perhaps the market rotational play and GMG is undervalued.

As for 07 prospects, it will depend on rubber prices and whether smelting plant project will materialise....so, at this point in time, it is hard to forecast.

However, for 06, looking at the rubber price trends, it peaked in July and then came down in Aug and Sep.. Prices recovered some ground in Oct but Nov, so far, prices is on a decline again. From the data I have, if prices remain at this level,  2H 06 will not be as good as 1H 06, but will be better than average HY of 2005....i.e profit for 2H 06 should be > $6m (half of 2005 profit).
