Yes, please read the post, it says "Thought I should add that the earlier post of Eng Kong was for those already vested.  May not be wise entering at this stage.  It could consolidate for a bit, or perhaps move further north.  It really depends on who were the ones pushing the price up last Friday.  Monday would already be a day 2 breakout, so remember what I said before about only entering on a day 1 signal."

We were expecting it to drop a little today.

cyjjerry, if i may take your qn: when we talk abt ek, note that ray, vic and i are in it, and we're dif styles of investors. vic is in for long term, i'm for august for this counter (see the thread), rayphua as we all know, is abt the squeeze breakout.

the tech targets i gave on the thread are actually for long term (august, if not later). but ok, short term targets, as per what rayphua warned (not to go in if you're not already vested): based on candlesticks and busd, momentum:

thurs and friday broke out. that's day 1 and day 2. honestly, from a techie's perspective (i'm taking a short 1-4 days perspective now), you would not expect day 3--ie, today--to continue chionging. on probability, it is not  likely to. what i'd expect instead is a consol to abt 25-26c level. for a few days, then cont upwards slowly. long term if you look from feb, it's pivoting upwards. in fact, it has gained momentum already. the new pivot pt is 25c, theoretically, now.

ek is a snail; if the snail starts moving too fast before its ready, then it'd be primed for a big collapse. not what i'm lkg for. plus, considering its report is going to be released in aug, no sense if it chiongs ahead of its time.

if you're lkg to square up, then well, from my view, i'd lk to buy in abt 25-25.5c. alt is to wait for 2nd wave, consol abt 27, then that's when i'd lk to enter. not now really, if i'm not vested yet.

note above just my views, elf doesn't like to give px targets actually, since targets are an artificial concept to me; so do make up own mind yea. caveat emptor.   

 

for me, if i done my homework liao, i will do accordingly to the results of my homework.. other factors will only "enhance" or "modify" my strategy bt main actions still "disperse" around my homework.. i seldom read those reports send to me by my remisiers and in fact, i doesn't really batted a eyelid at those reports.. i prefer to read in this forum, simplified version, "better explanation" and so on, bt views and opinions in this forum shouldn't be treated with any actions being done. remember, winning and losing is about oneself, and people making the calls out of goodwill in this forum are not earning from one losses or making any commission from it.. even BBs get "played-out", so i think being a small player like me should be "contented" with what i get..

 

the homework was done correctly...but other factors play a part to affect it too yea`

 

i dun think it is part n parcel as in actual fact, people should not buy a stock based on recommendations only.. they should be able to do their "selective" homework in acertaining whether the recommendations is worth any actions or not.. be it TA, FA, GA or other As.. one should do the "A" that they are comfortable with before any actions can be done.. 

 

wonder if anyone bought EK (EngKong) based on reccomendation...it kinda dropped today...well its just part and parcel i guess~
