Guess it is kinda expected that share consolidation will take place. Guess that's why the share price tanked since I doubt any shareholder will oppose it in the SGM they intend to call. Don't think this issue surfaced in the AGM two weeks ago? Perhaps the reason they are going through share consolidation is to gain institutional interest with a higher share price.

Will reduce the number of shares I collect a day from tomorrow onwards. Never really saw a stock price post-consolidation increase before. Usually prices increase post-split and drop post-consolidation. Oh well.. Guess I can subtract 3 zeros from my holdings already.

Will see first what price what they intend to convert to. If market does not like then I will have but no choice to follow the market...then I will come in back in again later and If the 1st qtr report is good then this consolidation will hold..it's a fcking risky move.

That's not the way I expect to act to achieve 1 dollar. In the previous Agms this was considered a taboo topic..what the fck is David thinking?

No, 15B shares @ 60c is S$9B. Can buy Hyflux, Boustead's and SembCorp's water assets, also UtdEnv/Memstar. Once consolidation takes place, HK will not be penny liao, joining UtdEnv as only 485M shares. With last FY RMB100M nett profit divided by 485M will yield EPS 4.2c. Looks like EPS will look good enough to join mid-cap, no more small cap. Looks like possible to achieve leeeta's S$1 lol. Leeeta, you advise David at the last AGM/SGM isn't it to achieve your S$1 target? lo

I agree with starlene for once... But it is not because of that that drove the px down to below to 7cts. The recent downturn was because of the penny sell off.
I am against this share consolidation. Will fight this off in the Agm...David has screwed up. 8 out of 10 consolidation is fcking loss making...

Normally after consolidation investors always lose. ..the sum of the 10 shares is < than 1 consolidated share...no wonder hankore goes < 0.07 n remain below that

The shares u own decreases but the total value of your shareholding remains constant. Consolidation was meant to make the stk investor friendly breaking away from penny volatility. Isn't that good?

Sino grandness, Mr Wang Yu Huei's other baby underwent a stock split a couple of months back which propelled the price up and away to give it a split adjusted price of $1.40.. So it is only expected that after consolidation, the opposite happens. Of course, the market can surprise us but it might be better to take precautions. Thankfully I sold a little today at 6.8cts after noticing the lack of buying power. Would have sold more if I knew this would occur to not take any chances. Hankore's share price, once again seems to have bifurcated from the company's prospects and fundamentals. David must be listening to wrong advice..tsk..a good manager does not necessarily make a good financier.

Never mind.. Just dug up some examples. Swing media, sapphire corp and ASA. The chart post consolidation scares me lol.. From those charts, if we extrapolate to hankore, not saying it will happen but if it happens, picture the following. For example, if I now own 10000 lots (I wish) at current price 6.6cents. Post consolidation and after share price has settled, I own 1000lots at 20cts (shit) if I follow sapphire's example.. Uh oh.

Never seen any sgx listed stock undergo share consolidation before..but in other countries it's not very beneficial to stockholders. You try look for a local precedent lor..been very busy lately. Can go two ways though I am not very optimistic. We must always question management motives to be discerning, even if it is for the better. This will prepare us for any eventuality, be it on the upside or downside.

Thanks, I missed that detail. Still don't understand the game plan of increasing authorised capital then consolidate shares. Probably to fulfill HK's goal is to attract fund managers once HK's share move to mid cap. Let's look at FY15 1Q first next week.

Based on HK's 6.6c, the consolidated share price must be more than 66c to be attractive. Can it? I couldn't reconcile the recent move to increase authorised capital to 15B shares and now consolidate existing 10:1. I wonder are they going to reduce the authorised capital or still kept at 15B shares, say at 60c, that means can raise S$900M. Buy what hah? UtdEnv lol?

I have some bad experience on share consolidation. The company is badly run, it gave more rooms to fall, it could just fall back to the price before consolidation and management will took the opportunity to delist it at a cheap price.

Jokes aside. Is it they really have a target in mind that insists HK consolidate shares first before agree on deal? Just thinking aloud.
