If you are really bullish on this one, 2.28 may be a 'juicy' entry still. In this case you'd be practising the 'buy on the dip' manoeuvre since you have assumed the trend is skyward.

As expected, there's a correction today. However, the correction this morning was not supported by heavy volumes. This is a good sign.

Like what iPunter said, there's increased risk if the stock is overbought. Its up to your risk appetite if you should take the plunge to buy in.

There's more risk of losing $ if one goes in after a stock has 'cheonged", though in strong uptrend, $ can still be made, but the risk/reward factor is diminished somewhat. Perhaps there's still some nice 'juice' in this one.

Wing Tai is still on a strong uptrend. But its very overbought now.

If you want to go in, wait for a minor correction tommorow morning and see if you can get a good price.

Hi gpwl2006,

Just saw your post at 10am. I know what you mean but you're reading just yesterday's price action. I usually use a 4-5 day time frame when I read chart trends. One day's price action doesn't really mean very much unless its supported by huge and unusual volumes.

TA is 50% art and 50% technique.

STOCK ALERT - Singapore's Wing Tai hits 52-week high on strong housing demand
12/20/2006 11:49:00 AM
SINGAPORE (XFN-ASIA) - Shares of upscale property developer Wing Tai Holdings

Ltd soared to 52-week highs, spurred by

hopes demand for high-end residential units will remain strong in 2007, dealers

said.

"There is still value in property companies. Demand for high-end properties is

still very bullish," an analyst with a foreign brokerage said.

He said prices may continue to rise next year, noting that developers are

willing to pay record high prices for potential redevelopment sites.

According to the Business Times newspaper, Overseas Union Enterprises, a unit

of the Lippo Group, has offered to buy The Parisian condominium in Angullia Park

at a record high 1,730 sgd per square foot of potential gross floor area.

Even at that price, the project is expected to be profitable, with breakeven

cost estimated to be around 2,250-2,300 sgd per square foot, the newspaper said.

Some high-end residential properties have been sold at close to 3,000 sgd per

square foot.

Wing Tai was up 0.15 sgd or 6.82 pct at 2.35, off a one-year peak of 2.36, with

2.42 mln shares traded.

(1 usd = 1.54 sgd)
