Is Biosensors a good buy?

Endeavor's huge late loss could be due to poor potency of Zotarolimus. Low late-thrombsosi rate is probably due to better durable polymer technology that is more biocell-compatible that provides better endothelisation (good cell regrowth that provents blood clots). Biomatrix has very good endothelisation, even better than Endeavor.

A buyout will be around $3, never at below $2.50 (let alone at 70cts like what donttalkrubbish suggested) because it will never garner enough key shareholders support. They know how much BIG is truly worth in DES industry. BIG can still choose to further license out their technology and each licensing deal is easily worth US$100m cash upfront. Just the valuation of JWMS alone already far exceeded current market cap. Just the cash royalty profit from NOBORI's Japan territory sales alone will be over US$100m a year in 2010. There are MNCs wanting to license BIG's proven top class technology anytime but BIG is not so stupid to do it now as it will erode away takeover value. BIG will only license out more territories when there is no satisfactory takeover offer on the table.

I have not seen the Endeavor 4 results in detail yet but looking at Endeavor 3, Endeavor does not look fantastic to me..

The ENDEAVOR III late results come during a sea change in the DES arena, where the focus has shifted from a fixation on late loss to concerns over stent thrombosis and associated deaths and MI. In the early days of DES trials, minimal or no late loss was held up as the new gold standard. As a result, the eight-month in-stent late loss in ENDEAVOR III for the Endeavor stent, at 0.62 mm as compared with the Cypher at 0.15 mm (p<0.001), and in-segment, at 0.36 mm vs 0.13 mm (p<0.001), led to gloomy speculation about the Endeavor stent's future.

The TLR value is so high. This means the patients needs to go back for repeat procedure. MACE rate is quite close to Cypher. Late loss also quite high, of 0.62mm. Only +ve is less death and low thrombosis val.

I will check the Endeavor 4 results later.. but I think comparison between Taxus is not a good fight.

How did u calculate that the resistance is 0.485 when BIG never close below 0.50 since IPO.

It just an indicator ... abiet a weak one, draw the bottom line linking 29 jan and 17 mar their bottom and nov 9 2007 peak...

As I mentioned earlier, these TA are ROUGH estimates, and only serve as indicators

For example, for Synear, it broke the 2 down trendlines and now it rose...

Does ALL stock broke downline lines rose all the way? NO... remember, there is NO 100% sure thing in Stock market unless you got insider...

TA is just there to help you make your decision, be it raise or drop the probability of winning

BIG seems like running on hope of a few people. It has been victim of intensive sell down. Admittly while product is good, it is under publisized. But at the same time i have to admit, maybe its cheap price increases chances of a buy out. However, to buy up this company, no point going beyond 70 cents.. especially in this economy.

Thus, those who held on since $1.00, 0.90, 0.80.. may not even see gains but loss.

I dun think its going anywhere until it breaks the pathatic 0.50 Oil sharply down, but Wallstreet is not satisfied, because bull trend for oil still remains. DJ is still down trend. Expect nothing to go up, bargin hunt at your own risk.

I agree, just happens that one of the TA i am using has resistance set at 0.485

Yeah, i too do not believe these kind of polls. Sure got kelong one.. ! When can Endeavor be favoured. Their lumen loss so Jia Lat.. when compared to Cypher. Overall sup-par compared to Cypher.

Anyway, I think the doctors will be the ones that needs to be convinced first. I read somewhere that they are creatures of habit (so like to stick to older ones) and also sometimes susceptible to kick backs..

then, you can do cost averaging if the two scenarios are met:

(1) it dropped 30%

(2) but the time frame should be more than 6 months.

in this case, scenario (2) is not met, only 6 days in fact, ha ha ha.. well, soon you will see me quoting this post, and said" seee....... we are at the right bet "

Using TA to analysis, we can determine the (NEVER exactly, roughly yes) price range a particular counter tends to shift to...

There are several models and tools out there so each analysis may come up with different results, but if several tools shows similarly close pattern... it raise the stake of credibility where a stock will go... mostly base on volume though...

For instance for Biosensors, somebody(or bodies) pick up quite a amt of this share on 1st Apr, and this happens again on 21st Mar, and TA + some calculations will tell you the movement ...

Hope that helps clear things up a bit
