Haha.... oh yah... and to get MC from him you cannot just ask him for it. You must first fill up a form requesting for MC.
tanglinboy,
Luckily the old man (I mean doctor) doesn't make his patients fall-in and shout: "Report Sick Fall In".
What's wrong with the doctor commenting on the word "guarantee" anyway?
He is just stating the obvious and please don't make a mountain out of nothing.
Just 2 'cents' worth.

tanglinboy,
Yea, SOP for seeing your neighbourhood doctor. Ha ha.
Please don't blame the doctor...
I am sure a doctor will only say that in good faith, and still do his best as a professional.

Speaking about doctors, there's this 24-hour clinic near where I stay . There's this strange elderly doctor. He has a list of rules for patients to read before they see him...
Some of these rules are something like:
(1) When asked a question by the doctor answer precisely and clearly
(2) Only 1 person may accompany the patient
(3) Only 1 person may speak at a time
etc...
Machiam like BMT style...

He's from KK hospital.
Wahaha... is this hospital doctor or just general practioner clinic?
tanglinboy,
But you can't really blame him, because he's stating true facts. I was so stunned that I also cannot answer back to him. I have nothing else to say.
heehee.... BTW, what kind of doctor is that? That's a very scary doctor with no bedside manner.... wah liew eh....

Well said, well said, Sir...

hahaha... ok.... good luck!
Well, nothing is guaranteed. Once I went to the doctor and he told me that he can only guarantee 1 thing: human must die one day. Other than this, he also dare not guarantee anything else.
Subscribing to it is one thing, but the onus is I must also be able to make the information available to my utmost advantage. Anyway, if I will subscribe to it (maybe 6 months if not 1 year) eventually, then I'll come back to this forum again to give my comments. Okay.

If u read the fine print it says that by paying the S$400 there is no gaurantee u make money.
Also it says that all info.has to be taken with a tablespoon of salt.
well I_tan888, think about the ROI involved.... only pay for what you really need and what you can't get free elsewhere. like YongJiu, I used shareinvestor and its forum for sometime also until they started raising prices and started charging money for forum use which I found totally ridiculous.
I think if it helps me to make $x,xxx/year, then it's definitely worth to pay S$400 for the annual subscription. Hmmm........... will definitely consider. Thanks guys.
oh yeah, I was rather into shareinvestor at one point of time.....
but it cost money =(
Any way I think over there there is quite bit of "old bird" who giving good tips from time to time.
I also have my respect to the IPO legend over the Mr.Pahlawan... he seem very good in rating the IPO either sharkfin/drumstik/chickenRice =)
Does any one know his background?

hehe...
But he is really satisfied with it...
Anyway, personally I also find it not a bad forum.
And it has an attractive 'exclusive' feel to it.

Pay people money already of course must "swear by it" lah....

I heard from one of my great buddies who is into ShareInvestor...
It seems like he 'swears by it'.
Furtherrmore, where else can one find categorisations such as 'shark fin' (OUCH!), etc to 'grade' good stocks to get into?
