If you have only the sun in Virgo, then you must find out where your other 10 planets are.

If, say, you have the other nine planets planets in Cancer, you will in all likelihood be more Cancer in nature than Virgo.

Actually, with the personal 'style' of astrology that I am used to, a person is a composite being which has the attributes of all  the 12 Zodiac signs. How each individual manifests those characteristics depends on the strength of each of those signs in his birth chart.

So for me, a 'Leo' person will not be purely a Leo person, for example, unless the strength of the Leo factor is boosted or amplified by the other factors. An example is when a person has many planets also in Leo (ie. not just the Sun).

Astrologically speaking, Leo people needs attention from others, which is to say, they have strong ego needs.

Therefore, a strong Leo investor will typically not think in terms '1 lot or 10 lots' when speculating. They most likely will bet at '100 lots' or '300 lots' levels. They are not people who bother with scalping or day-trading either, since they look at things on a grander scale.

(The above comemnts do not refer to any specific person, but is a purely astrological in nature.)

HPL: very scary divergence shown between share price (increasing) and lead indicators (drastically going down, esp chaikin). Classic signal to sell, almost. 'nuff said.



STE: signals a bit wonky but uptrend since mid-jan. Likely to continue up. higher highs closing every day, a good sign. This baby needs to break 3.46 to go up. Note reduced sensitivity of A/D and C/O to this counter. Lag indicators might be better.



Singtel: another wonky counter. lead indicators downtrend. Actual trend indeterminate (probably due to the heavy punting if you watch the actual buy/sells). Caution advised.



SPC: this one's for chinkiasu haha. Yes, uptrend likely. Confirmed if can break 4.66 convincingly and sustained.



Longcheer: ipunter, in response to your qn on the longcheer thread: yes, indicators for this specific counter were up, but longcheer (and any TA stock act) is currently risky 'cos of macro-forces--if the fed meeting today/tmrw is bad, entire market's going to do that one day skid yet again, in which case, might not be possible to run fast enough unless you're glued to the screen. Plus will have a lot of stale bulls trying to get out of it. Note Williams of greater use in tracking this stock since it's a trending stock in a trending market--RSI can pick it up too, but pictorially it's clearer on the former.

It is a must for intellectuals like doctors to be so very careful (ie. be defensive) when dealing with ordinary people...

In this regard, I rememeber how Xiaxue giggled away uncontrollably when a doctor was explaining a procedure of a certain anatomical surgery to her.

 

Tell u ppl about a joke of this doctor in Albert street some 25 years ago.

Long q of patients and 5 will go in to the consultation room a one go.U have to describe ur sickness where the other 4 can hear.Normally,I try to let the other go first.

Also,he can be interupted by phone call from his stockbroker.He will stop u and talk to his stockbroker first.

But for some reason his business is successful cos his medicine works. 

 

Doctors who do not have bedside manners can bring on more stress to the patient.

 

But isn't it even remotely possible that that particular doctor ( or any doctor, for that matter) could have done that in jest only ie. 'contextual jesting'?

 

and was he wearing a mask too?   btw, what has happened to those things...  I remembered SARS... when we have to be very disciplined...

 

Wah, this is just the opposite of a clinic in Sims Drive.  Many years ago (heard that this clinic has closed already), my colleague used to patronise him and every time, he'll ask his patients:  how many days of MC you want?  I could laugh my heart out indeed.  This is truly using $ to buy MCs.
