What do you mean by "technically more well-versed" and "aggressive"? hehe.. :)
some gals whom i know are technically more well versed & much more aggressive compared to men.
i also dun understand if the institutional investors wanna push down a share price, why do they have to do it in huge transaction sizes? they are continously sell at lower prices rite?
as u have said b4, maybe the brokerage houses got whiff of SPC results and are exiting it first. (I hope not)

elf: if your analysis is right then its good news rite? cos although SPC prices will drop some more. it is only temporary. the big boys will be coming in soon & prices will rocket up.

This kind of question very hard for us to answer because our trading philosophies can be different .... instead let me tell you what I would do as a short term TA purist.
The moment a stock's charts turn bearish, I would bail out and cut loss.
Note that I'm a very short term trader so my style may not suit you.
