oh Geojam, since you mentioned capitaland... this $4k psf project is jointly developed by Capitaland and a HK developer.

 

about real estate in Singapore... can only watch in envy!! Gosh, the latest and most expensive unit in Singapore sold for $4000 psf, just yesterday. It's on top of the big vast land just behind orchard MRT station. A 3room. apmt of 1800sq ft costs over $7m and 4 romm apmt of 2800 sq ft costs over $11 million!!! Looks like $$ is really non-issue for these ultra-rich.

 

geogam, I also think you are millionaire! Simple mathematics... assuming you have 10 lots of STE, that's about 34000, plus your SPC say only 2 lots, that's 9000 (can't be only 2 lots, right?). Total $43000 and that's only 5%  wow $860,000. Not forgetting you new house.. tsk tsk tsk...

Real estate as in buying and selling actual property? Nope.... I don't know much about that industry and also I'm not sure if the bubble will burst. Seems like everyone is buying or renting or selling some property.

In spore no.Because in spore my shareholdings is only 5%,so my firepower is limited.

For me,I am for long term.

So i buy for divvy and hopefully it grow in long run.

I normally buy top 25 or 50 type of companies.And only 2 counters like livermore.Same style we have and also like to margin lend.

Do u do margin lending?Or just TA?

 

Currently still no... was lucky to have gotten out just before the crash 2 weeks ago. I'm still waiting for the smoke to clear..... I am actually looking for potential buys now.

Do you think that the coast is clear to start trading again?

Topping could mean that it will be embarking on a downtrend soon OR it could hover about that the same price level for a while.

I think there's a chance ST Engineering could be topping out in the short term. Chaikin starting to drop and Acc/Dist may be starting to turn down.
