Just in this news.
STOCKS NEWS SINGAPORE-Golden Agri falls on tumbling palm oil futures
Singapore-listed Golden Agri-Resources
By 0117 GMT, shares of palm oil firm Golden Agri were down 2.3 percent at S$0.64 with 42.3 million shares traded, making it the most actively traded stock.
Smaller rival Indofood Agri Resources Ltd
Malaysian palm oil futures dived to their lowest in more than three years on Tuesday, hurt by slowing demand from Asia and a drop in the edible oil's appeal as a substitute for soy oil, with the U.S. soybean harvest progressing at a record pace.
[ID:nL3E8L22OU] CIMB Research said recent export figures and its channel checks on last month's crude palm oil (CPO) harvest suggest that stocks could have risen to a higher-than-expected 2.5-2.6 million tonnes as of the end of September.
" We believe there is sufficient storage capacity but the concern is that buyers may defer purchases," said CIMB. However, it expects CPO price to rebound by the end of the year due to its attractive pricing relative to soybean oil, and has a 'trading buy' rating on the sector.
Its top picks are Sime Darby Bhd
63.5 will be a good support if it break then TA will need to refer to even earlier days which will lead to more inaccurate prediction.
if it rebounds at 63.5, 63.0 dont enter yet cos the wave still downwards.
Palm oil counters all got whacked hard hard.

Any new developments with this counter?

Current cpo live price is RM2400. Bac to 2 years low. will it affect golden agri share px?
any one wanna share his TA views on Golden Agri's on it s likely short-term price direction now?
ok noted tks!

Other than poor palm oil price (already factored in current price), there is no reason for it to move downwards any further unless the world economy worsen and stock market takes a tumble.

Anyway I just taken profits. Quick trade for me.
Seems quiet in this thread. Nobody here keen on the top volume counter for the past days?

Oh yeah in USD!! Oh my, I've been following it like SGD, been too conservative..
And it's actually a 20% disc on that value last two days. Very value for funds and less risky, even if there's any losses the coming quarters. Rising now, seems like shorts are covering and funds are in.
I think low prices are due to expectations on M& A (for why they issued the convertible bonds) and related costs. Unfortunately this company has tight cashflow to do any share buy back to boost its share price like what its peers did recently.

Isn't the NAV in USD?
even dilution, it still got around 77 or 78 cents NAV...
(just my thought, i didn't vested in this counter, still observing)

Yes, there will be dilution with its issuance of convertible bonds..
However, there is no " material" effect on its NAV. There is dilution at pips level, but when rounded off its still 0.66.
