Macquarie International Infrastructure Fund Limited
?This is an extremely attractive investment for TanQuid. The sites generate stable and
predictable revenues, a significant portion of which are backed by long-term, government
contracts. There is also a substantial portion of long-term higher margin non-government
contracts in the revenue base. The customer mix produces yields that are very attractive
for MIIF, and will be accretive to the overall equity returns from TanQuid. We are very
pleased to have secured this asset and now look forward to the extra value it will generate
for MIIF shareholders.
?MIIF?s current dividend guidance of 7.952 cents per share for 2006 represents a trading
yield of 9.3%3, which will be tax free in the hands of most Singapore resident investors.
Acquisitions such as this provide an excellent platform for growing dividend payments to
our shareholders in the future,? Mr Osborne said.
Completion is expected to occur by the end of July 2006, following the satisfaction of
certain conditions including merger clearance.

N=Based on 31 December 2005 portfolio valuation as disclosed in the audited 2005 MIIF Annual report.=
yield is very good at current prices..n MIIF should snap out of its downtrend soon..my take is after the world cup..but its anybodys guess..:)
General mkt weakness...thats why it went down. Read today's SGX announcement... Co. reiterates it DPU for FY2006.....3.95cts and 4.00 cts for 30 Jun and 31 Dec.
MIIF has hit all time low yesterday at 81 cents. Does anybody know why this stock has gone down so drastically from 88 cents to 81 cents these few days, other than the reason of Fed Rsv interest hike. Thank you.
well..MIIF hedges its foreign exchange rates..so not too concerned bout dat..its juz the feds decision on interest rates dat will probably contribute to its performance in the near term..:)
The revenue of this fund is about all generated oversea in foreign currency. The strength of Sing dollar in comparision to US dollar and Euro will definately erode the profit.
If you want to hold something which can generate generous divident, I am sure you don't want to have capital lost.
By the way, I have invested in MIIF too. This is started as long term investment. Look at it now, it going to be my ultra long term investment.
haha..dun have to be a retiree to be a dream investment..its undervalued and have very high div yields at current price..its at a good bargain and it coincides with the Great Singapore Sale..very appropriate..haha..
MIIF @ 88 cents is RETIREE Dream Investment.
Retiree can hold for longer for Capital Gain, otherwise collect Dividend.
In the form of 3.95 & 4 cents for both Half of 2006.
So Far So Good The Management @ MIIF.
pretty confident bout the company..they r performing well so far in delivering performance..catalyst could be more acquisitions..they have funds set aside for that..n other catalysts will be interest rates settling down..
:)
:)
I dun think it will be under the forecast..all the company reprts they vested in posted earnings above expectations..so if it should deviate from forecast first half div should be more than 3.95cents..heh..but then again we can all just hope for the best..loaded up more @88cents yest to average down..
:)
:)
Price seems to be supported at the 88cts level.
My strategy is to lock in some at this price....don't use all the bullets, then if it goes down, pick up some more to average down.
When Co announces its half year DPU (30 Jun) sometime in July, I am sure there will be some uptrend.....unless DPU is below forecast....also Vested.
My view is it looks pretty undervalued currently and at current yields it is one of the best in Singapore..Just woried seeing it being battered quite badly over the past week..Vested (:
Forecast DPU for 2006 is 3.95cts (30 Jun)and 4.00cts (31 Dec) making it 7.95 cts for 2006.
@ Friday's closing (88cts) and on an annualised basis(assume bought on Fri), yield is about 12%.
NTA $1.03....good defensive and yield play.
this stock has been beaten down pretty badly..n div yields at this price is very attractive..almost 9%! any comments regarding this stock?
any comments from the experts?very bullish performance today..
Fundamentals are solid with excellent div yield..
TA wise all seems very bright.. very strong performance today..
I am still learning though..
Any insights on direction?
hee..thanks gallen..ur write up was very helpful..i am rather new to TA so still learning..:)
Hi Novocaine,

seems very bullish today..:)
