Do not confuse transacted sell volume with the Sell queue. Ppl buy from the Sell queue is registered in the Buy Volume, and sell to the Buy queue is registered in the Sell Voulme.
Maybe things are just happening to fast in the market place, so there are orders done and queued at the same time. Hope this helps
but if people are buying from the sell volume, then the volume of shares selling at say 1.01 should decrease, why does it increase instead?

You bid to indicate a ''Buy', market sells to you if price is acceptable. This transaction is registered as sell volume since it is a market sell.
While pp are buying from the sell queue, there are also others who join the queue.
sry. dun mind an amateur like me asking a noob question. how come on the trading list, everyone's buying and its suppose to reduce the sell volume, but the sell volume keeps going up?
