More than 3million shares bought up at 1.02 cents. This is despite dismal performance of STI. Looks like big boys taking opportunity to accumulate. Support at $1.00 seemed very strong.
Yoh, the only green in the top vol, despite the unfavourable comments on commodities in BT today.
So still can keep it loh.
Comparing 1Q08 results of palm oil stocks. GAR +102%, First Resources +457%, Indofood +524.5% and Wilmar +590%. GAR increased the least. Excluding biological gains and negative goodwill of US$307m, GAR's net profit would only be US$136m.

GAR has a 1m ha landbank in Papua. With environmental groups claiming that virgin rainforests and animal habitats are destroyed in clearing land, GAR will meet with a lot of resistance in developing the landbank.
Got chance to climb further, though in TGIF. As DJ now is slight green and CO is on record high. On the other hand, when CO is up, other counters would suffer, due ot operational cost up as well, except oil related counters.

really frustrating. this tuesday i thought this will rise through the week. but only rise till 1.04 then keep dropping. why move so little only???

Yesterday, indonesia goverment mention that they will revoke company license that have the landbank but not yet develop it. Sorry below source is in bahasa language. Maybe this is the reason its price went down.
