U know, in this market being a remiser in STI makes no sense.
I rather just be happy earning my rent

If one's trading style has a built-in defensive mechanism,
it will work out well in the long run. Thus if one shorts only
at ripe juicy-juicy peaks, one's returns are maximised,
and optimised. In any case, one's losses, if wrong are
always minimised by the application of the S/L...

Np! but i tried the reverse and it works i.e. enter higher than market price and it fills the position with the cheapest price :)

This fall would last at least 1 month.
We are just 2 weeks into the fall, there are 2 more weeks to go.
You may think this is the bottom already, but to me, this is just the half way mark.
I short when I know the market is going to fall further, not at the peak.
If the market is at the peak and I know the market is going to climb higher, I would still Buy more, not short.
There is no peak or bottom in the market, only market going up or going down.

Sifu alex can u advise if i open CFD short at say a ridiculously low price of $1.40.. Will it fill the first highest position of selling price?

no.. we should have the balls to short at the juicy peaks..
not having the balls to short when dow jones already dropped more than 400 pts..

This is the time where you anyhow short, will also make money.
So have some courage and short big big.
It's really funny, if this is the opposite, where market is Bullish, everyone will have the balls to Buy big big.

Nothing to say about CityDev, not into it.
But you are right about the initial bounce after a strong gap-down.
Anyway just be careful these days....

This bugger will drop to 1.5 and may have more room to drop further to 1.3....

I am into real estate now, not really trading much... Too freaking volatile lately

i guess the key is still not to overtrade.. always reserve some bullets..
but if the neckline is broken, i guess worth taking the risk uh ?
wat do u think of citydev?
normally a strong gap-down will tend to have a small bounce for the first 5-10 mins before going down again..
