yes, paul.... does not change the oversupply mode for this segment of office buildings.....
Ocean financial centre. One raffles place..... the consolidation of DBS bank at this area helps.
just a casual remarks..... take it with cautious limits it can goes. overseas venture are harder to identify the risk, singapore context..... simple walk around the area.

In casual conversations with a number of executives in companies with city / town offices, it does seem like the new MBFC is the place to be seen. If economy does indeed pickup for real and not punctuated on frequent suspicion of double dip, I think Kepland is the single biggest beneficiary among the big property players. Just my view.

DBSV just reported that there is significiant industry hype about commercial space leasing activities, particularly in the Marina Bay vicinity. Focus on Keppel Land and Singapore Land.

Makes you wonder months ago at the last TP of $2.31, how did the Macquarie analyst keeps his/her credibility when Kepland share price has been moving up and up, and evey other analysts in town keep upgrading Kepland's TP. After 1Q2010 earning report, the last TPs from CIMB is $4.51, DBSV is $4.13 and Fraser is $3.87. Significant discrepancy. Anyway, key is the coming 2Q report card.

Probably because Kepland has good exposure to office property market, (which is recovering now) more so than Capland.
Morever Capland has got more exposure in China than kepland. With the aggresive cooling measures taking place in China, the market is causious about companies with big business (Property development) plans in China.
