Rubber futures on the Tocom turned upward steeply today with prices going limit-up from late morning to afternoon!!!
China needs to import 1,000-1,300 tons of rubber a day from Vietnam but supplies can meet only half of the demand.........

Rubber price on MRB continues its upward trend today.
Rubber Price in asia continue to move up today!
Kottayam , Jan. 10 Spot rubber prices finished in green though panic selling at higher levels reduced the gains to a great extend on Wednesday!
Rubber futher on the TOCOM rose further.....look like the uptrend will continue for sometime!

perhaps by mid to end feb...then will have enough data on 1Q rubber prices ...also, FY06 results should be out.......then I can review the validity of some of my assumptions.

too early to do est for 1Q 07.....need to see rubber price trends before I can do an informed estimate.
