That's no problem IPunter.  I never stop learning.

This is how I do anticipation for new possibility in the market.  Market is always changing.  For example 10 years ago, USDJPY has 80 pips daily range (DR).  Now, after forex retail has been introduced, USDJPY has 110 pips DR.

I think forum has been cooling down now.  We are in consolidation period. Smiley

This is in fact good stochastic example in real life.  Cashier Tan & TabbyKat is support and IPunter is the resistance.  We have Scotty and OneSharer as the Bank Central did intervention.

So, I;m the speculator who is doing the trade.   Smiley

Is this great everybody ??? Smiley

Techsys... :)

It is good to see what strategies others use. And there are many others.

The important thing is that a good strategy must be nett profit over a period of time.
I have no doubt your own present strategies are working for you now.

And it is good to know that, in spite of that,  you are willing to widen your perspective more.
I share that spirit... Smiley

Hi IPunter,

I go through the trading record on the website.  What I see is, he trades base on double top/bottom thing.  It seems like market break strategy.  The Entry point is base on the pattern 30 pips away from the base.  Target Point will be after next support or resistance.

I'm not sure, but that is what I get from observing his trade records.

Hi Tabbykat,

Can you share with me what is the content of "Street Smart Forex"?

Last time I got email from someone who recomended me to read this book.  But I don't.

Now you bring up this thing, I'm really curious.  Smiley

For all, let think that our temper is a stochastic chart.  If there is an issue, our emotion will up and down like oscilator.  After some breaks, situation will be cooling down, than we call that, our emotion is consolidating. Smiley

Hi Manikamaniko a.k.a. ipunter,

See your post attached. You have mentioned in another post that you have traded forex and most recently you have posted that you made 100+ pips within a short period. Its amazing for a forex newbie.

Or are you speaking with twisted tongue.

I have read "Birdwatching in Lion County" that you recommended. Its a big piece of shit.

I have read your latest recommendation "Street Smart Forex". Its another piece of crap.

I bet you did not read it. Just tell me what is the "turtle soup".

Cheers

Guys, frankly, I am really disappointed!

I really don't care how much profit you made or how experience you are.
Is it really necessary to attack each other so PERSONAL LY?  The way I see it, none of you has earned the right to be so rude to each other.
So could you two PLS JUST STOP embarrassing each other, yourself, and SJ that way!

If you guys are so fond of each other and couldn't stop "communicating"/"stalking" each other, can just pte msg each other.
Perhaps, can just take a "time-out" and stay away from each other's posting, PLS!

TabbyKat... :)

I never said I was a seasoned forex trader. I started in forex only recently and traded a demo account with ibfx.

But my experience is only with the stock market and commodity futures, where TA is the critical tool. You can say I am a seasoned trader in stocks, but in forex, I am new!

To me, every ebook or course is valuable (as opposed to people calling them 'crap'). Some are not well written, but the perspective gives added insight to be gained even by seasoned traders. But may leave all forums or junctions to spend more time on other pastimes...

I hope to stick with my newfound hobby of forex with a few distilled simple strategies.

Forex is enjoyable!!!.. Smiley

further to Tabbykat's posting, this post by Ipunter on 28th May, slightly more than 1 month ago... "trading D/Y pair for as long as I play". What a big flip-flop !!!!! One moment, never trade in FX, next moment, only pick it up 2 weeks back and already making over 100 pips and yet next moment, for as long as I play... There are many other examples to show how much credibility this person has.

Other example, he has said on the record at least twice that he's never coming back to ShareJunction, yet never fulfilled his words. Each time, he waited for some innocent forumer to 'beg' him to stay. In the latest episode though, no one did cos no one could careless. He disappeared for a few days and re-emerge talking nonsense and promoting ebooks like before.

With a record like this, how can we then trust that he has read those ebooks he recommended.

[Background of flip-flop : if everyone remembers during the last US election, John Kerry was accused by GBush of being flip-flop for supporting the war one day, and not on the another day. ]
