Now, you want to touch also cannot touch.
But, I sure many shareholders are willing to sell to you for scrap.

This has nothing to do with this counter...
But the recent melamine-in-milk-powder incident does not inspire
very many people to be very interested in milk.
But goat milk is superb, though more expensive..
Maybe drinking cow milk can make people bullish in outlook...
so this counter still got hope anot?

I just saw this post when happened to browse through China Milk's forum.
No,niuyear. You don't make profit at all and you don't need to pay back anyone as it is already worthless. As Short Sellers own nothing because of the company has already delisted or bankrupt. Get what I meant?
Thanks, Star-Trader
niuyear ( Date: 20-Apr-2010 13:05) Posted:
interesting,! that means to say , you make 100% profit if company go delisted ?
But, wont the shares you borrowed from someone, that 'someone' has less share to sell?
star-trader ( Date: 16-Apr-2010 20:51) Posted:
Short Sellers will own nothing,nil/zero.
When you short sell, you actually borrow the shares which in turn sell them in the stock market..If you want to relinquish your shares, you got to buy back the same number of shares to repay the person/brokerage whom you borrowed from. If you got back the shares at a much lower price which you first sold it, you will receive the difference, selling short is a method to profit from a stock that the price is falling. So what happen if the company is delisted or go bankrupt? It means that you don't have to pay back anyone because the shares are already not worth the value, or worthless..
Hope it clarifies or alternatively, check with your broker for a clearer picture on this.

Page 3 of the announcement shows their bank balance amount for Feb 2010 and Dec 2009. 2Q 10 (Sept 09) figures are available in their financial statements in SGX.

It is definitely NOT in their dictionary.
From the previous lessons learnt, anything
regarding finances in S-chips shares cannot
be taken for granted. Where r the good
governance.
A lot of money seen to have moved to another place. Within 6 mths the cash was reduced from 20.1 billion RMB to 0.38 billion . Something is brewing inside.

Cash @ 31 Sept 09 was RMB 2.01 billion
Cash @ 31 Dec 09 was RMB 0.50 billion Cash @ 28 Feb 10 was RMB 0.38 billion Were the remaining RMB 1.5 billion cash used to pay off the CB ?

0.38 Billion RMB dollar convert to US dollar is only about 56-57 US Million dollar , so they are still have problem in paying the whole bond payment back .
