From: Kim Eng Research (5 July):

Pick up on the cheap – now: KGT has had a lessthanstellar debut, trading below its issue price of $1.13, possibly because Keppel shareholders cash out on essentially what was a dividend. We expect this situation to stabilise shortly. We believe KGT to be worth $1.53 per unit, based on implied yield of 5%, or a healthy 44% upside. Current yield is an attractive 7.4%.

No debt for a start is good so that has more space to borrow for expansion in future.

Also, no debt doesn't always mean gd bcos cheap debt can be used to earn returns. I like to see judicious use of debt to achieve this.

Agreed with you.

Citispring, lots of debt.

KGT, debt free. Management is better too.

Both are Temasek-linked Co. & compete on desalinated water works, but K-Green is selling below NAV + Zero gearing now - so should be hv more POWER going forward, my view.

Cityspring NAV = 43c., Yield 8% (Price @ 60c = 1.4x NAV)

Vs. K-Green NAV = 1.13c, Yield 7% (Price @ $1.07 = 0.95x NAV).

Yield?? I believe cityspring higher yeild. If u bought from day one ..too bad ....your return + yield are negative...Let's see at 30% disocunt of its NAV.

The oil spill has caused the company who is doing the desalinated water works , facing a tougher future, i.e., they not only need to remove excess sault and menerals etc, now they have to remove the STICKY OIL..

pharoah88,  You may want to tell her :

If oil price change to higher , she has to change her habbit also if she wants to pay only $90.00 per mth, i.e. she can only use 3 hours of electricy instead of the usual 4 hours.

"""""""She only flicks the switches on at night — for about four hours — to operate a small standing fan and the lights in the living room when she watches the television.

Their daily consumption habits have stayed constant, yet their utilities bill has grown by over 20 per cent since the start of the year, said the 51-year-old tea lady. “From paying around $90, my bill was nearly $120 last month. I was shocked because the use of our appliances have remained the same,” she said.
