Within the last two weeks i think most of the people have lose 10%-20% range $. I think dow jones -50 points should not affect much on the market on monday. Properly it will rise also depend on the china, japan and china market.

Either you earn or get burnt fast in stock especially for those without holding power. Didn't contemplate that the stock market will precipitate at this time. So speculate big and unfortunately it was a bad judgement call and have to pay dearly for it. Sigh.

Aiyoh man, I'm incurring loss of US25K in US market and $47K for Singapore market. No choice but to sell my car and take the mrt, train or bus or walk to work.
Well, I am a bit shock to see this thread again at this point of the time. And with quite a big group losing money.
How you lose it ? Is definitely better than How much money you lose ?
At least we can learn a pointer or two........
BTW, Peg li, how you intend to recover your money ?

Ha ha, comrade, AK also dun lose less lah. Of course, also making much $ for good spending loh, before criss. The cutting loss process was really heartbreaking. But the buying back cheap end Mar n beginning Apr 2009 on, US, HSI n STI, paying back some painful moment suffering along d way. Now, still paper loss, but could recover back some, contented n happy good lucky liao. Cheers.

Dear comrades, when falls, must be able to stand up n carrying on d journey, dun be discouraged, learn better way to walk n be vigilant any traffic bumping at you.
End 2007 since DJ black Mon till end Mar 2009, just a typical example of an US made car banging at u or even almost everyone under the sun,unknowingly. Making nitemare for that long period of time. At least now, most people are glade that they can breath a bit better.
Nonetheless, there is still a long journey to travel, lets move on with a smile loh. Cheers.

Played share since 1998. Lost 75k in Chartered. Paper gain in C&C, Genting, Capitaland. Total net is 10k paper gain.
Lesson learnt : Play share ok but still got to work.
so how much is yr total net gain/loss from the 1st day u play shares untill now?
