When it started to move up and then showed no strength sustaining, I sold off all my Yingli at 50 cents as it came down.   Now it is fairly cheap, but still not the right time to enter. I will re-enter around 36 to 38 cents.

Have a feeling 40 cent is coming... Before a rebound comes

if the curb is on resale residential housing then the investment dollar may move to commercial, office and industrial for opportunities. it will also encourage non investment buyer to buy direct from developer. stock market may benefits if money find it's way there.
those ghost town development will remains ghost town until there is jobs there.
i think the net impact, if lesser investment dollar, means more dollar for spending, better internal economy.
their tax collector will also have wind fall of income.
caveat emptor.
vested interest.

Yes correct, Ying Li only has a small handful of residential. All their investments are in commercial and retail sectors. So, they will not get affected by the new tax. However, investors are not well informed and majority are just acting with instinct. Part of human nature. When they hear about some bad news, they start to panick and sell. These are usually the unsuccessful ones. No brainers. The smart ones are the ones that read about it, analyse it and boom!!! they come out with the winner. Sad to say, there are very few smart investors like the one writing this. Slow and steady wins the race...
Market Downtrend, People collect the profit and quit if normal behaviour. If you have opportunity to quit at high price will you do it? and then re-enter at lower price. If you say not ...hehe...... you know who u are right kakaka
Yingli only have a small handful of residential no? All retail units. People have to realise that. Its amazing. If im not wrong they only have one project of high end residential n the rest of their projects are malls n financial buildings. So what has e residential tax gotto do with YingLi? Faint

PCRT is in retail, so likely will not be affected.......PCRT is growth and dividend stock....
Yingli is higher growth but no dividend.....the policy will affect its residential....but I like their properties as they are all in the centre location in chong qing.....
Both counters (growth stocks)  I shall take profit and switch buying to Perennial CRT (defensive stock)!

“新 国 五 条 ” I believe at least will prevent the property price from rising for at least one year or more. The previous " 新 国 十 条 " measure imprement on april 2010 have actually take effect and prevent the property pricing from further rising for at least one year plus, and only recently which property have just start to show the strength new measures which will be kick in. What worst might be when " 新 国 十 条 " is imprement China GDP is still above 10%, but currently only start to recover from the decline, thus the property market might be heavily hit, and will this affect other sector might still be questionable, but not too sure how heavily as this will depend on the " 两 会 " .
