eh...i just call my broker...he told me is

every 1 lot u can buy 2 lot ...

eg: 10000 then u can buy 20000. this should explain for the drastic drop n diluted.

it means you get 2000 rights units for each 1000 shares you own b4 x-date.

What is really interesting is that the supposedly knight-in-shining-armour, Mr. George Wang, pared his holdings from 9.96% to 7.45% yesterday, right after the successful passing of the MI-Reits resolutions.

Conspiracy therorists are going to have a field day.

buy buy... pls support this counter cos i bought yesterday :P

anyway... though existing shareholders are scre****.... new shareholders benefit.... high yield and

My maiden post to this forum, although I have watched it in interest....

Believe that the below notices are "old" news as the date of execution were on 6th Nov (0 to 8.26%) and 9th Nov (8.26 to 9.76%). It is strange though that the "Notice of Substantial Shareholder Interest" are only posted now.

Right issue price has always been a BIG magnet (pulling current stcok price to what the right issue price is) if the company fundamentals are weak.  Why buy at current price if you as a uniholder can buy it at issued price of 0.28cts. High gearing for REIT is definately a no-no. For MI-REIT, I think it has been creeeping upwards for 2 - 3 years now but i should think people would have noticed.  What are the properties in which MI-REIT bought during recent the property speculation boom? Did it affect their gearing significantly with those purchases?  Did any one veto against it? If you believe in the mgmt strategy and them flipping the table to lower their gearing with this right issue, than embrace and support the motion and buy more @ a huge discount of 0.28cts.  Beware of then of the dilultion effect...
