Many people enjoy intricate and detailed analysisof things...

But for stocks, all such efforts are of no practical value,

since stock prices and movements are caused by mass

sentiment, which has little to do with stock fundamentals per se.

A single piece of news or rumour can send a stock with

superb fundamentals dropping drastically, or send a

stock with unknown fundamentals soaring up the sky... Smiley

Looking at the recent companies in similar industries,  there are good reasons for special interest in this company due to rcent development in other similar companies like United Envirotech and sinomem.

United Envirotech announced that it has entered into an  agreement with KKR to issue the latter US$113mn in Convertible Bonds with an annual coupon of 2.5% for five years.

KKR can convert this CB into United Envirotech shares at S$0.45 per share.  If the CB is fully converted, KKR will become the single largest shareholder of United Envirotech at 38.4%.

I then thought of Sinomem which was recently privatised with an offer of S$0.70 per share when its NAV was S$0.53 per share, ie a premium to NAV of 32%.  In the case of United Envirotech, the conversion premium if KKR decides to convert is about 50% to its  NAV of $0.30.  So we have a range of 30-50%.

If it does happen with Memstar then investors should be looking at a similar premium if they use the premium to NAV method.    The price could also be determined using a notional PER - based on historic data - Sinomem's PER was 12.9 (according to Bloomberg) at S$0.70  and for United Envirotech the notional PER at $0.45 would be 11.3.

Besides your industry is likely to be recession resistant and in a rapidly growing country. Good luck.
