Contrary to popular belief, "punting" or rather good punting is a rare skill.

One should not just frivolously and carelessly "punt lah, punt lah" when something looks very 'cheap' at any particular time... :)

One should punt, or bet, only when a sound basis has been arrived at, which for me is to ignore the fundamentals and studiously pay attention to the subtle techicals.

My stop lost is 0.22.  0.235 support holding for now. CCI is flat, ADX is flat.  Going nowhere again....  I scolded myself. Punt lah! punt lah! Serve you right. :p

If this one hits 0.22, it may or may not be good value.

Memory prices have fallen so much they are selling at "kachang puteh" (peanut) prices compared with one or two years ago when they cost as much as pieces of gold!

So unless new breakthrough products are indeed in the pipeline, this stock may just laze around like a lazy snake on the floor.

Can 0.26 hold?  Looks like there is no place for gambling in the stock market is there? :) *Dead*

Major physiological support broke, heading towards 0.24.

I think this counter is on a long downtrend. Be cautious

If this one hits 0.29 tomorrow, chances of further  rise are very good.

I suppose Onghuih would have sold off long ago, since I believe she is a good trader who knows how to cut loss quickly.

Today ended with a doji.  I like the physiological support holding at 0.275 - 0.28. Further below support is at 0.24.

The trend is bearish on the daily chart and doesnt look set to reverse as yet. The price action is getting tighter and becoming a flag.

I took a gamble and buy at 0.28 because of the previous bounce from 0.28 on 11 Oct 2006 & 1 Nov 2006 and the buy-up volume.

Maybe I shouldn't ignore the dip passed 0.28 on 11 Jan 2007.

Lets hope my intuition serves me well. :)

if I recall correctly, Ms Onghuihui was the most bullish protagonist for this stock sometime back. But she seems to have been out of sight from these pages lately.

This counter has volume and price moment suitable for intraday play. Currently it's on a downward trend with movement contained within a big channel. Interesting...

This stock is languishing at the rock bottom. May present buying opportunties with low PE ratio of 11. Provided that its fundamentals are still intact. Any idea when its financial year end results will be released ?

Hi waterfalls, on 03 Jan, although Chaikin is uptrend, AD is not, it just stopped downtrending. Sporegal has mentioned that Chaikin is to confirm AD's trend not the way round. So now, both are down trending. be careful.

Unusually high vol of 14 mln shares coupled with price drop today. Are the company's employees selling down the shares "gifted" by their CEO ? Is there more to it that meet the eyes?

To balance up, some news on its FA.  The co has on 30-12-06 announced the acquistion of 49% stake in the Global Positioning System intellectual property rights of Mozart which deals in digital lifestyle products and navigation systems.

Also noteworthy is that its CEO recently rewarded his staff with 26.1 million shares in MemD for their loyalty and the impressive performance of the co. After the transfer, his stake will be reduced to 23.6% on an ordinary share base of 593 million shares.

Looks like they have got a good team out there !

Hi waterfalls,

Very good analysis! You may be right. It may be on an uptrend now.

However, take note that this counter is a penny stock and therefore our TA analysis may not be accurate for this.
