It said that its new aerospace plant would generate annual revenues of US$100 million in five years' time. The company said in a statement that the new plant would be completed by September 2007 and would be ready to start production by January 2008.
"We expect the new plant to contribute to the company's bottom line in 2008, its first year of operations," CEO Andy Luong said in a statement.
It expects earnings in 2006 to be more than double the level in the previous year, thanks to robust outsourcing orders for semiconductor equipment.
"In Q4, we expect our profit to be the same level as Q3 excluding a one-off gain of $7.9 million in Q3," Andy Luong told Reuters on the sidelines of the opening ceremony for its aerospace plant.
"In 2007, we expect a minimum 25% growth for both sales and earnings for the group as a whole," he said.

With the big green candlestick today, the chart of Norelco begins to look positive. Further upside can be expected. Next resistance is at $0.465 and after that $0.495.
Yes. It is correct. Company has been buying back its shares. I think they have bought a cumulative of >7 million shares this year.
There is also one purchase of 400 lots by an investment fund.
Do agree that Norelco there will be more upside. If I don't remember wronly, the company and fund manager have been buying the share at the price range of 0.41 and 0.45 for the past 2 months.
Both volume and price have surged in the afternoon following the release of their strong 3Q result. I believe there is still more upside tomorrow when the results are more widely publicised. Technically, Norelco's chart is actually quite weak. But a strong green candlestick today will change its picture. Anyway, TA on this counter is difficult because of its relatively low and inconsistent volumes. There is probably some money to be made for early birds but trade with care.
