takes forever for the news announcement to be made...even Yellow Pages halted recently took a day to lift the halt status...

lc8888, there is no trading when halt trading is stipulated. So no contra. Due date - your broker may give you an extra day or two to pick up (pay for) the stock. Speak to your broker. He/she is the best person to guide you.
anyone has news of the trading halt? when lifted for training ?
if i'm playing contra and today is the due date, does it mean i need to 'pick' up this counter ?

k guys, back again.. thought contel might be going up today after Dow move up yesterday.. Well, hope the announcement is not contel issuing some convertible bonds...

for a stock like Contel to still remain stable in times of downfall like now...goes to show that it is still withstanding...definitely still holding on as there are still pretty much of a confidence it will go up once this upsetting phrase is over...darnz...when will the bloodshed end...! can't wait to see more greens

ok, its back to square 1 of 23.5 -24cts.. But at least its good that contel is still holding its ground despite the bloodshed.

Price up a bit but volume still low.. seems like strong resistance/support at 24cts. Waiting for price to breakout of this level convincingly before loading up more
