I am one of them that sell slightly before the analyst price target. e.g. Chip Eng Seng. tp 1.00SGD.  I got it at the start of the fenzy and sold it at 0.96 near to the tp everyone knew of.  Sometime you need to use that kind of info as your 'edge'.  If majority learnt of the the physiological price resistance as that, no point going against it. When the market shows you a decent profit, just take it.

Yongnam: tp is 0.61 - 0.63 but the internally among them its reviewed 0.52 - 0.54. Did you know about this?  Daylight robbery huh? :p

In Westcomb report, it is mentioned that:

Lewis Court venue will be launched in 4Q07;

Phonenix Court and Le Chateau/Clemenceau venue will be launched in 1Q08.

 

(assuming non had noticed yet) that the professional analysts always give a
"target price" in their reports.

But long-term investors usually choose to ignore this fact.

It is obvious that all these analysts think the price will fall at or around the stated
target.   

 

This week's TheEdge has a one and half page feature and interview on Hiap Hoe and Superbowl's Group MD Mr Teo. This may raise the profile of the counter. Will the price run up next week? Let's see.

 

today Westcomb recommends a Buy with target price $1.64. The other fund houses may start their rerating soon.

I have no doubt that no matter how much he "whacks", he is sensible and experienced enough

to pull out on the slightest sign of danger (ie. cut loss with minimal damage)...

After all, preservation of capital overrides all other considerations,

including, of course, the compelling desire to make money...

Think I'll just "whack" a couple of lots on this one just to try my luck... 

 

I think the TA charts do not really show great bullishness because the volumes are dropping even though the good news came out. The price may rise but its just slightly bullish looking.

 

This present wave of 0.42 cts to lift the price to around 1.5 is highly probable... expecting more goodies to akan datang.....

JOINT TENDER FOR GOODLUCK VIEW AT TOH TUCK ROAD
WORTH S$73.3 MILLION

Singapore, 22 June 2007 ? SuperBowl Management Pte Ltd (?SuperBowl
Management?), a wholly-owned subsidiary of SuperBowl Holdings Limited
(?SuperBowl? or ?The Group?) and Wah Hoe Development Pte Ltd (?Wah Hoe?), a
100%-owned subsidiary of Hiap Hoe Limited (?Hiap Hoe?), announced today their
successful joint tender of a residential site for redevelopment at 45 & 47 Toh Tuck
Road (?Goodluck View?) at a cost of S$73.3 million. Based on the site area of
123,955 sq ft, the tender cost amounts to S$460 per sq ft per plot ratio.
For this project, the investment cost structure between SuperBowl Management
and Wah Hoe is 40% and 60% respectively. SuperBowl?s share of the tender
consideration amounts to S$29.32 million and will be financed through internal
resources and / or borrowings.
The site at Toh Tuck Road has been stipulated by the Singapore Government?s
Master Plan 2003 as a residential site with a maximum permissible gross plot ratio
of up to 1.4 times and with a maximum height of five storeys. The site has the
potential to be developed into 115 condominium units of 1500 sq ft each.
This tender is the first successful joint bid between SuperBowl Group and Hiap
Hoe Group. The two companies have partnered each other in the past and have
also come together most recently to bid on the Housing & Development Board?s
condominium redevelopment of Dakota Crescent.
This tender site located on Toh Tuck Road enjoys quiet and green surroundings
as it is fringed by the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve and the Bukit Batok Nature Park.
Its location also allows easy access to amenities such as shopping centres,
eateries and a variety of schools as well as major expressways linking it to the city.
SuperBowl?s Managing Director, Mr Teo Ho Beng said, ?We?re extremely excited
about the successful tender of this project and we expect good returns on our
investment here. In property, it?s all about location and the opportunity to
redevelop residences in such an exclusive neighbourhood will help to position us

This is very good news and believe many more to come. Can see that BBs are buying upward with a nice closing above 1.18 on Friday. Looking at the wave, each wave is around 0.42 cts, so this wave could lift the price up to 1.4/1.5 hopefuly.
