When you are used wired broadband, wireless broadband can be real slow by comparison.

Have anyone tried? My friend told me the performance is not great. Take "many" seconds to download a page....Probably it will take a while to resolve the performance issue.

Tink its due to the free wireless internet access recently ... Singtel is in, but not Starhub.

100,000 expected to sign up for Wireless@SG accounts this weekend

SINGAPORE: Nearly 100,000 people are expected to have signed up for access to free wireless internet islandwide by the end of this week.

The three service operators - SingTel, Qmax Communications and iCELL Network - say response has been encouraging since Wireless@SG was launched on Friday.

Under the project, everyone in Singapore can enjoy wireless access to the internet at public places islandwide.

Response to Wireless@Sg has been overwhelming at the SITEX Information Technology fair.

The three main wireless service providers have also been dishing out freebies to draw in the crowds.

One of them rewarded those in the queue with web cameras, while some are handing out other free value-added services, on top of three years of free wireless internet surfing.

Need more good news to push the price up...After EPL and Quarter result, there isn't any more good news.

I was only .10 away when it touched 2.09, since I was all prepared to enter at 1.99++. Too bad it "flew from my hands". Some stocks don't like kissing support levels at all. So those who have discipline can also be snooked.

The recent surge was likely the result of Starhub winning the EPL licence. If it falls to 2.1x, I also want to pick up some.

Starhub's trend is slightly uncertain now. But I can't say that its on a confirmed downtrend now.

You must be talking about 20 Feb 2006 when it went down to 191.

But since the time you've bought it, you would have ridden the roller coaster up and down and up and down and up and down and up and down and...

And up till today, you still haven't sold?

You are really a long-term investor!
