Local Singapore proprietary valuation

Food business profit margin is low but in spore, sporeans love food.

This can only go well with food..

All it takes is for people to realise that the new diversification bodes well

Must clear 26 cents in excess of 500 lots, then we can start to wish for 30 cents mark

I am very sure this bottled ginger sauce is not new. has been around for the longest time, have seen it in NTUC before. they even have XO sauce if I remember correctly. It was also sold in their restaurants.

So what is so " new" about this retail business? Expand perhaps is a better word.

Cooking up some news to justify its share price increase? Most companies would not even do an SGX announcement for this kind of news. Everyday come up new dish/bread/outlet must announce si boh? Corporate Departments of F& B companies like Tung Lok, Sakae, Breadtalk, etc must be damn busy like that.

I just hope this don't turn into another pump and dump counter like the infamous quartet because I am vested. Want to pump and dump also pump higher first then dump, ok?

Can the Kampong Ampat kitchen cope with the volume of ginger sauce to be supplied locally as well as Japan? I doubt so. I think the next phase will be to lease a JTC place or to purchase a manufacturing

place to ramp up productions. This will require additional funding. They may have enough cash and bank borrowings to acquire a production facility or alternatively, they can seek placement from strategic investors.

Base on recent aggressive buybacks, they do not seem to be in need of cash and placement may not be an immediate issue. By doing share buyback, they will increase the value of the company and use the treasury shares

as a bait to get a good size funding. The higher the value of company, the better the chance of funding be it from banks or investors.

Certainly this is a piece of surprising news..........moving into a kind of business similar to Super Coffee.....Of course, its size is small......It will improves the earnings for 2014 and less dependent on all the outlets earnings too.

Shall be interesting days ahead
