looks like something is really going on today...now back at 7cts..consolidation or not...dont see distribution yet..so tomorrow may still continue uptrend and maybe even next week..but do be very careful and trade with care.
but if consolidation really is going to happen then trade /invest with care. Do take note of the px trend before and after consolidation if it happens..be nimble and quick, and if does go down by a certain % post consolidation, let go..can always buy back. If it goes up which is rare, then go long until trend reverses.
Just be careful. There is no free lunch.
Remember consolidation gives us a greater risk than mere buying any other non consolidating shares.
@Spivvy: Beside the two counters you mentioned, there is one that consolidated 25:1 when it was pre-consolidated trading betw 5 to 6 cents.
So after cons shd be 25 x 5 or 25x6. After few days of trading it was ok around $1.30, so not much lost unless for those who bought abv 6 cents.
Then it slowly and steadily went down below a dollar, very fast. Today it is trading at 48 cents. People who trusted the company mus have lost a fortune. The company is Abterra. Luckily I sold off with a small loss. That time I held a few million shares pre-consolidation.
Careful not to be conned.

Till now, vol already near 70M. Never been in Nov had seen such vol(the most around 55M). Good to see such interest despite no announcement
risk management sure win at end of the day. good for you ccx bro. somehow u managed to punt right & covered half of yur innopac losses when hankore rise from 6.3 to 6.8. And you managed to gain bit more back this round. Think if you continue to stick to yur strategy and not chase the highs, you will be successful in time to go. No greed.
I went to check out the prices of 2 companies which did consolidation not too long ago abt 1-2 yrs back. One was China Fashion (5 for 1) and the other was Chaswood Resources (10 for 1). Both are pennies. China Fashion before consol back then was ard 4 cents and after consol managed hit a high of 40c before plunging down subsequently bit by bit back to ard 4 cents, literally meaning that whoever still holding on to its shares before & after consol actually has his shares cut into 10 pieces and back with only one piece left. Chaswood was better, used to be a 3 cent stock then after consol went slightly above 30c for maybe just a few months before subsequently also falling back to half its price now. Ofcos theses are companies with not much fundamentals.
Anyone can shed any light on what are the companies with better fundamentals which ever did consolidation exercises before?

IOCBC chart alert point to target 10c , don't how true ? but IOCBC chart always say take above 49 days to form this price pattern...not now..!

For those who bought at a high or at whatever price, this is indeed an opportune time to sell to take profit or minimize losses. Try not to have this expectation that any price which rallies will go go higher and any price which goes down will trend lower. I sold a little from what I collected before the consolidation proposal at 7cts in the morning when I noticed the momentum had slowed. I will attempt to collect back those lots as the price goes down below 6.7cts. Though not without some profits.
Personally, I trade or invest by this rule now after the Innopac disaster. Buy or collect slowly when the price is trending down, sell or distribute slowly when the price rallies substantially. So if the price somehow breaks above 7cts later today or tomorrow, I will observe first and either attempt to catch the high or distribute bit by bit to the poor guys chasing the price.
This way, I get some upside while limiting any downside. It is all about risk management now for me.
