Pawnbroker Maxi-Cash listed on Catalist at the SGX
Catalist becomes Maxi-Cash's capital-raising platform for its business strategy and expansion plans.
In a news release, Singapore Exchange announced the listing of Maxi-Cash Financial Services Corporation Ltd on Catalist, under the stock code of “5UF”.
Incorporated in Singapore in 2008, Maxi-Cash has steadily grown to be a leader in the pawnbroking industry. It has the largest network of retail outlets in Singapore.
Mdm Koh Lee Hwee, CEO of Maxi-Cash Financial Services Corporation Ltd said, “Maxi-Cash is proud to be the first pawnbroker to be listed in Singapore. As the leader and innovator in the pawnbroking industry, we have paved the way in changing the overall image of pawnbroking by providing our customers modern, professional and 'bank-like' pawning experiences. We have the largest network of 24 pawnshops and retail outlets, where trust, transparency and reliability are the basic hallmarks of our services. We strongly believe the listing will enable us to further strengthen our 'Maxi-Cash' brand name and enhance our corporate image and profile, which will in turn open up more opportunities for us to expand our network.”

Maxi-Cash, with an estimated market capitalisation of $88.8 million brings the total number of companies listed on the Catalist to 137.
