STT Communications + BeWell Company Limited + Frontiir Company Limited
Just to share my query to mDR and their reply.

1)                “Announcement on 1st April 2013 by CarrierNet global distributor agreement with Singtel. From what I understand, Mdr is the exclusive retailer for Singtel and what impact does this announcement have for Mdr?”
  mDR:

There are currently 6 SingTel’s exclusive retailers in Singapore and 3 Mobile Telecoms Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of MDR Limited, is one of the exclusive retailers. We do not foresee any significant impact on our operations in view of the latest appointment of CarrierNet Global Ltd as an exclusive retailer of SingTel.

2)     “Lastly incorporation of joint venture company in Myanmar 16-Jan-2013 and news report in Zao Bao newspaper on 3-Apr-2013. I read that Mdr is opening shops in Yangon and Mandalay and negotiating with major handset makers. However there is no announcement in SGX with regards to whether this business is with relation to subsidiary Mdr Myanmar Co Ltd. With Myanmar issuing the 2 foreign telecom licence in Jun, is Mdr using this opportunity to provide retail distribution service for Singtel or any telecom biding for the license?”

mDR: The Company has not issued any announcement on our operations in Myanmar as we are still in the process of negotiating with the respective handsets manufacturers. We will make the relevant announcement(s) as and when there are material developments (for eg. the signing of contracts with the manufacturers).

We will definitely inform our shareholders accordingly when there are such plans and/or have secured the rights
Very disappointing lately
Very likely - your guess is just as good as mine. Very strong support @ 1.7c. Kateks welcome to keep shorting, cos they're the one that's going to parachute this babe into outer space soon. Bet on the usre-win horse!  DYODD!

Mdr cant sign a contract when singtel is not yet in. Now mdr is in regardless. They can sign anyone. Not just singtel. Thats why i bet mdr. Chances r higher. Not saying carriernet is not a good bet. Just saying mdr doesnt NEED singtel to get contract. Will be NICE if they do but they can Sign anyone.

This one will continue to fill up the gap.
Polaris Telecom Pte. Ltd. (“PTPL”) has on 1 April 2013.
PTPL will be appointed to initiate or actively support Marketing Activities initiated by SingTel Group Companies.
To promote and sell the Services and Products, including organizing exhibitions or roadshows, the size, frequency and duration of which shall be subject to the prior approval of the relevant SingTel Group Company.
This one fill up those gap. (“Distributor Agreement”) MDR cannot fulfill
with Singapore Telecommunications Limited, SingTel Mobile Singapore Pte Ltd., SingNet Pte Ltd. and Telecom Equipment Pte Ltd.
(collectively, the “SingTel Group Companies”) to carry out sales, marketing and promotional activities (“Marketing Activities”) in S'pore in order to promote and procure the sale of telecommunications and/or broadcasting services provided by each of the SingTel Group Companies (“Services”).

Those keen to know what shops belong to Mdr just refer to every Saturday Straits Time main section (This wk page A2 (M1) & A4 (Singtel)). They will put exclusive distributor on the advertisement.
Go check out mdr's shop like handphone shop (M1) & 3mobile (Singtel) and they will put exclusive retailer on all their shop.
Look at Carriernet annoucement carefully, they are only supporting " marketing activities" for singtel & exclusive retail shops.

(collectively, the “SingTel Group Companies”) to carry out sales, marketing and promotional activities (“Marketing Activities”) in Singapore in order to promote and procure the sale of telecommunications and/or broadcasting services provided by each of the SingTel Group Companies (“Services”).
