agree. this is a good counter. cause they only say they will earn less but not making a loss....
car is getting more expensive hence more people will take public transport..
Price looks very attractive, but I'll wait for a stronger Buy Signal.
Good luck.

Now, others elsewhere will also find they have been paying extra — for between 0.1km and 2.4km more than their actual distance travelled.
The discrepancy came to light last month after
Yesterday, LTA said there were another 12 discrepancies in distance-based fares after checks were done with the public transport operators. The last of these errors were rectified on July 27, three weeks after the new fare system kicked in.
The greatest discrepancy discovered was for SBS Transit Service 170, from Johor Baru Checkpoint to Larkin Terminal. The initial computed distance of 9.5km has been corrected to 7.1km.

On Singapore soil, the biggest error was for SBS Transit Service 161 from Innova Junior College on Woodlands Ave 2 to Block 190C on Punggol Road. The correct distance of 15.9km is 1.1km less than the 17km originally computed.
The margin of error in the remaining cases ranged between 0.1km and 0.3km, said an LTA spokeswoman.
LTA said the errors were due to “changes on the ground” such as road diversions. It put up notices yesterday at affected bus-stops to inform commuters and to advise them on making claims.
The LTA spokeswoman added that the number of commuters affected “is likely to be small”.

Mr Puk’s query was reported on July 7, and as of July 19, LTA has received 19 claims for refunds. Eight have been settled; the rest are being processed.
Bus vouchers from the relevant transport operator will be mailed to approved claimants, valid up to the maximum fare. LTA said it will continue to check for further discrepancies.

— First, it was bus commuters along a 300-metre stretch at Buona Vista.Today reader Dennis Puk Leung Kong wrote in to highlight how the distance in opposite directions between two bus-stops on North Buona Vista Road and Commonwealth Avenue differed on the public transport fare calculator website — an error which was subsequently confirmed by the Land Transport Authority (LTA) when contacted by MediaCorp.last low is around there, but we alway say don't hold the falling knife ma!
