Third nuclear unit has exploded lah, Japan will no power to even online for next few months. If want to buy can buy some stocks in COAL company, they will probably shutdown nuclear and go back to coal technology, greenhouse gas better then no house left...

Anyway buy in action today so far, looks like someone is supporting the share price, or some fund is taking this opportunity to buy in, what do the experts think?

If    the support at 25 cents fails , GMG may go down to 23.5 cents or lower .

Bintang      ( Date: 22-Feb-2011 19:37) Posted:

GMG fell heavily with huge volume , it may reach the support at 25 cents soon .

Bintang      ( Date: 22-Jan-2011 11:49) Posted:

GMG has not rebounded recently , instead it came down again . It broke the 100MA n closed at 28.5 cents . Since the top formation has formed at 33.5 cents in December 2010 , its trend turned weak n came all the way to 27.5 cents , n rebounded from here to form a rising wedge . Breaking the formation at 30 cents with big volume on 18 January 2011 , the downtrend would be confirmed . Strong support is at 25 cents

Rubber, like other commodities like Palm and Oil, will be in demand. Situations like this present buying  opportunities for investors. But key word to note is " INVESTORS" not traders. Traders may get whack if say another tragedy spooks the market. But like you said, rebuilding will mean that companies like GMG, GAR, Olam, Noble, Straits Asia  will have good values.

hv a qn...

if japan need to rebuild its city, rubber will definitely come in somewhere, shouldnt that drive the demand for rubber up, and push up prices?

For my  UOB kayhian is B for buyer and S for seller

dunno about the other systems.

seems like rubber price keeps droppping, and will continue to drop this week due to the japan disaster. I think have to wait at least until end of the week before we can see any rebound! japan government just printed more money(5.1 trillion) so that means YEN will drop again soon hehe

0.27 is good price to catch but doubt it will drop that  much. May be better chance at 0.275.

yummygd      ( Date: 09-Mar-2011 10:27) Posted:

going to Q at 0.270 doubt it will go any lower den it...but of course unless Ivory coast plantation kena burn down..but touch wood la

My two small cents. Sell GMG but do not buy DynaMac. Price has risen too fast I feel and GMG still has Ivory Coast cloud hanging over. In fact, market as a whole may have some pull back before resuming climb. But that's only my two small cents....

Hi all,

Advise pls.. I thought of unloading GMG for a small profit & load up Dyna-Mac instead tomorrow.

But then, is it too risky to enter the current price for Dyna-Mac now?  Would it be much safer

for me to  hold on to GMG ?

In trading always remember to watch for news. Any news. These will give players an excuse to push either way. After what is happening with Libya, lots of stocks are being pumped down. Even stock that have businesses as far away as China. These are just plays.

So with latest about Ivory Coast, admittedly GMG has alrady said that they only have processing plants there and it's only a percentage of their business but remember, GMG took a hit just a couple of months ago for the very same reason. I am not saying the company is in trouble. Just that bears are out.

If you are long investor, can look out for buying opportunity. If you are short term trader, stay out for now.

Trade with care.

It is most important to be aware that trends exist...

Trend can be very real, and not just in the imagination...

This is an important reality to consider, especially for long holders

(who of course don't mind holding forever if need be)... Smiley
