yeah, me also wonder to buy at 0.44, and let go at 0.48 with 20 lots in short term time.... anyone has news on this counter? it has shoot up quite a lot actually..
Anybody can help shed any light on the latest development regarding this counter. With all the boom in the housing industry and the IR, I came in big but it seem to be hardly moving and the volume is really thin. It seems to be hovering at about $0.44 to $0.46 range.
Any idea chen it will "cheong".

This is normal because its a low volume stock. Difficult to perform TA on a low volume counter also.
Appreciate the advice of TA gurus on HG Metal as it is not moving compared to other stocks. Thanks.

hi Irene, my tp is when it is hitting new highs. Maybe I will let go at 55c. Today can see it touch 48c or more!

With the coming 2 IRs, the construction industry is heading for a revival and yes its very probable Singapore will be competing head to head with China for steel supply.
By the way, what is your target price HG Metal?
Hi Irene, i don;t know leh! What i do know is that Singapore will be facing a steel crunch in 2007 to 2009 as it is an integral part of making buildings. How do you expect steel price to move when properties are getting so hot? I also think this company is generous enough to offer bonus shares twice already in the past 2 years. Hopefully, HG will get the coverage it deserved!

46.5c looks like a pretty good support. It would be good to queue to buy at 45c as vol is thinning due to holiday season. This is for keeping and not for speculating, so must be prepared to hold for 3 to 6 months to ride the construction wave. Who knows another bonus issue coming next year for this baby?
hmm have further downside.. however, it look poised for some rebounce b4 going down again.. 0.45 or below may be a better price to enter for those bottom fisher

Difficult lah, this is not marine company only metal company that sell metal sheet to shipbuilding client. It is different from Swiber. Good Luck.
